I Make Masterpieces

i make masterpieces

on my skin like an

etch-a-sketch;

i pencil orion's belt

across the sky like a

connect-the-dot drawing,

i pierce the fabric

of the universe,

i make masterpieces,

i make masterpieces.

i paint a picture of red

geometric sunsets

on my legs so that they

can carry me there in

another lifetime;

i draw a picture of a

thunderstorm on my arm

until it is raining; until i

feel it raining; until i

see it raining.

i am the sky. i go

stargazing on my own

skin, i trace galaxies

on my own skin.

i am the universe.

send me back to

the universe.

send me back to

the universe.
