Nothing's Forever

They put us together,

We became birds of a feather,

You were my best friend, my lover,

But nothing is forever.

Day by day we grew,

Always discovering something new

together,

We thought we had forever,

But nothing is forever.

We ranted to each other,

Kissed and hug out our troubles,

Pushed through all our struggles,

Too soon people began to form puddles,

Pulling us apart,

we fought hard but nothing is forever.

Now were forced to stay our distance,

We rebel in our own little ways,

But it's not the same knowing,

Knowing we can never ever be a thing,

A love, a friend or anything inbetween,

So we just gave up and let go,

But we will always know our love was so,

I will love you forever,

even if we can't be together.

Yet they say Nothing last forever.

Never ever.
