~ Five Years Later ~

Having kids is no easy task, but I would say Jack and I have managed to raise our son Elias pretty well. He has Jack's hair, and the resemblance is almost uncanny to his father. Elias loves spending time with Nerissa way too much, I would almost say he had a crush on her, but I guess that's just how best friends are nowadays. God, I sound so long in the tooth.

"Babe, we have to go," Jack trails on. I nod. Every Sunday, Lilith, Vera, and myself go take the kids to the park while the guys work on their final project with The Order. As we walk to the park, Elias smiles, holding my hand.

"Mommy, what do I do if I like a girl?" he asks. I giggle.

"Well," I trail on, putting on as serious of a face I can make. "You have to always be nice to her, and never make fun of her. Be amazing friends, and one day, it can be more," I state happily. He smiles at me, giving me a hug as we stop at the swings.

"Nerissa!" Elias exclaims, running towards Vera and her daughter as they find a swing to play on. I chuckle. Nerissa has her father's light eyes and mother's dark hair, so anyone could obviously she was their daughter.

"How's work now, Lyssa?" Vera asks. I laugh.

      "It's great, I couldn't ask for more."

"Not without me!" Lilith exclaims, cutting in with her stroller. There sit her two-year-old twin boy and girl, Owen, and Olivia. Owen and Olivia get up, waddling towards Nerissa and Elias. We all giggle, hugging each other. It's been years since Jack and I got married, I honestly couldn't ask for more. The Order was shut down, I was good friends with a powerful witch and werewolf, yet...

My only concern was for the future.

"Girls, what are we going to do say ten years from now? How are we going to tell our kids that they have werewolves for parents, and werewolf blood lying within them in that case?" I ask.

"Hey girl, when the time comes, it'll come, but for now, just enjoy the little munchkins. They can't do much aside from being cute. Take that with joy," Lilith trails on. Vera smiles,

"I'm honestly not too worried, everything is pretty much taken care of," she trails on. We all nod in agreement, watching as the kids run around with each other. The joys of being a parent are different from what they tell you, because with all the happiness, comes a worry of it being snatched away. I refuse to dwell on this mindset, but I cannot help myself. I love too much to let go.

All in all, I'd say at least one thing: we did it. We finally managed to maintain the order.
