You say yeah I know, but they don't see
They say they'll understand what you're going through
You sit there crying, and silently ask, " Do you? "
They're your best friends, and you've been through everything together
But lately, all you've come to know is that nothing lasts forever
You feel bad because they're hurt you don't trust them
To find a way to fix it while they just want it to end
Been hurt too many times to trust anyone right now
Realizing how little you can trust anyone you just say " wow "
But it's not like your best friends will hurt you right?
But knowing you've thought that before, tears start to cover sight
Why can't people just be good?
People do things you never thought they would
But my best friends should be fine, I've been with them my whole life
But don't wanna take chances so you're not stabbed in the back with another knife
It's not personal and you tell them that
But its like you hit them with a bat
Just trying to stop your pain to be
Cause there's no way for everyone to be happy
