Niall woke up the next morning curved around Chroi's back while she peacefully slept.  He pressed a kiss to her cheek, pulled the covers up over her shoulder so she wouldn't be cold and quietly slipped out of the bed.

Niall pulled his boxers on before making his way into the kitchen.  He made himself a quick cup of coffee and a piece of toast while scrolling through his phone.

He realized he was smiling.  Smiling so wide his cheeks hurt.  It was like he'd been injected with happiness.  He'd never woken up feeling so light.  Brandon could've called him and said his record label had dropped him and Niall probably would've shrugged it off as no big deal.

He didn't have to wonder where the feeling had come from.  The current occupant of his bed down the hallway was absolutely the culprit.

He turned to make Chroi a cup of coffee.  He took the last bite of his toast and then he rejoined her back in the bedroom.

He had to smile when he saw that she'd shifted in the bed.  When he'd left her she was on her side.  She'd rolled onto her tummy now, her face buried in the pillows, her hair fanned out across her shoulders.

He set down the mug of coffee he'd just made, removed his boxers and slid into the bed next to her.

Niall felt his whole body relax when her warmth enveloped him once again.  He leaned down to kiss her shoulder,

"Hey..."  He whispered, rubbing his stubbled chin over her skin.  He kissed her shoulder again, "Made ya some coffee."

Chroi let out a small whine but didn't move.

Niall smiled,

"Still tired, I see...guess I shoulda letcha sleep some last night."  He said as his fingertips traced her shoulder.

Niall couldn't deny he'd been insatiable.  After making love to Chroi once, he'd wanted her more with each time afterwards.  It was clear that being inside Chroi was quite possibly the most calming place he'd ever been.

Chroi lifted her head, turned it in his direction and then set it back on the pillow.  Niall lifted his finger to pull her hair away from her face and tuck it behind her ear.  He leaned down to kiss her cheek,

"Mornin, Angel."

She smiled at the sound of her nickname,

"Hi."  She lifted her head off the pillow a biit, "What time is it?"

"7:45."

"In the morning?"  She asked.

Niall snickered,

"Yes."

She set her head back down on the pillow,

"Oh."

Niall snuggled down into the bed on his side, encasing her in his arms as she turned onto her side to snuggle into him.  She pressed a soft kiss to his collarbone.  She whispered something Niall didn't quite catch.  He kissed her forehead,

"What was that?"

Chroi snuggled tighter into him,

"I feel safe with you."  She repeated.

Niall stopped, his heart squeezing so tightly in his chest it felt like it had stopped.  He pulled back to look at her, resting his hand against her cheek,

"You make me really happy."

Chroi smiled weakly, her eyes focusing on his mouth.  She'd felt so secure and happy that morning when she woke up and realized he was next to her.  It was like the universe had finally heard her thoughts.
