"Alright. Don't forget to do your research about exponents and rational numbers." Mrs. Hyde said then some studensts started leaving the room. I packed my stuff then I was about to aproach Ms. Mysterious but Mrs. Hyde called me. To be honest, I couldn't really call her that. Just because she didn't look at me she's already mysterious. I'm not that attractive to catch anyone's attention.

"Do you know where your homeroom is, Mr. Martin?" Mrs Hyde asked me without looking up. She's arranging the student's informations from A-Z.

"Yes. On room 108, Ma'am." I answered. I was watching Mrs. Hyde flip the pages and I recognized the pretty girl earlier and saw her name; Lauren. What a pretty name for a pretty girl.

"The person incharge of your homeroom is Mrs. Rey." She nodded then continued, "Alright. You may go."

I left the room and closed the door. I took a deep breath then looked for my second subject. I still couldn't get Lauren off my mind.

"Alright. You are all going to do twenty push ups! Ready? 123 Now!" Mr. Jones yelled at us like we were 10 miles away from him.

"Mr. Martin, five more push ups! You're slacking off!" He yelled at me again. Jeez this guy has problems.

"Alright, enough! Now I want you all to run 8 times around the gym. Now!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. Doesn't he get tired from yelling? Plus, We're going to run 8 dang times around this huge ass gym. It's like bigger than the world itself.

Gym was finally over. Everyone went to the bathroom to shower while I was left here since Jones told me to stay. I'm sitting in the middle of this gym waiting for him to come back. A part of me thought he ditched me and he's gonna lock me in here forever until I was proven wrong and he was aproaching me.

"You're really good at running, son. How 'bout you join the school's soccer team?" He asked and I was quite taken aback at what he offered. Is he even serious?

"Uhm, o-okay. I'll think about it." I stuttered. I used to play soccer when I was in second grade until third grade until one incident happened. I could really remember it well, but I couldn't remember the kid's name who was with me.

It was a really sunny day and I was on the field playing against the kids who are a grade higher than us. They didn't expect us to win. They thought we were just stupid third graders who has no experience in soccer. I'll admit, some of my team mates doesnt know how to play well but my father taught me the basics and rules. That's why I'm the team captain. I proved them wrong. I scored a goal when I kicked the ball with such force that it swiftly hit the net. There were loud cheers by the people who were watching since the score was 1-0. I couldn't really remember what happenex next. All I know was I passed out while my dad was getting ice cream and I woke up in such a dark place. I was begining to panic. I was tied up too tight. I was trying to break free when I hit something. Then, I knew I wasn't alone. There's a kid beside me, too. It's too dark to see wheter it's a boy or a girl.

"U-u-uhm, Hi." I stuttered. I wanna know if the kid behind me is alive or not.

"Hi." The kid respond. I couldn't remember if its a she or a he because it was long ago.

"What's your name?" I asked.

Again, I could not remember the child's name anymore because mom sent me to therapy after this incident. Although, I still couldn't forget this.

"Why are we here?" The kid asked.

"I-I dont know." I immediately shut up as I heard the door open. There was this guy in a scary mask. He was wearing clothes that were all black. It seriously scared the heck out of me that I even heard the kid beside me cry.  I mean, who wouldn't? I started crying too because he was also carrying a huge ass knife.
