People say that the feeling of falling is nice. Some even say that it's exzilerating. The feeling of the wind whipping past your skin is one of the most peaceful yet exciting feelings in the world. But when you're not sure that if you're going to be saved or fall to your death, falling isn't fun.

You tried, you really did. But just as the voices said, you're not strong enough. Now, you're going to die because of it.

You could feel the wind rushing past your limp figure as you fell from the roof of The Avengers tower. You couldn't save yourself and you knew you wouldn't be saved. But you were okay with that. After all, you were the reason for your parent's deaths and the kidnapping of your siblings, (Y/C/N) and (R/N). You didn't deserve to live.

You peacefully waited for your body to meet the ground. For your suffering to finally be over. You'd never cause another death and you'd be free from the burden of life and you'd finally see your parents again.

The impact came a lot faster than you thought it would. The trampoline the police had set up didn't help. You were falling from so high, falling so fast. The trampoline caved it and you fell through, your body hit the cement road, leaving a hole in the trampoline and a few cracks in the ground.

You're supposed to die on impact when you fall from a height like that. Well, that's what you thought. But here you are, lying on the ground, bloody cuts, severe bruises and really tired. But not dead. You groaned as you opened your eyes, not remembering when you closed them. You sat up, slowly and painfully. You heard a few gasps and soon the sound of whispering spread like a wild fire.

What the heck?

How are they alive?

Didn't they just fall from the top of that tower?

What is this kid?

You groaned and ignored them. You went to stand up but it was then you realized that almost every single bone your body had been broken, a few possibly shattered. You laid back down, with the pain and your drained energy, there was no point in trying to get up. Although you were too tired to use use your powers, you're advanced healing had already healed some of the cuts and some of the bruises were fading. However, the crack in your head was still stitching itself back together. Being immortal has its perks.

After lying there for about a minute, you felt your legs repair themselves, allowing you to walk again.

You were about to sit up when you heard your name.

"(Y/N)!"

You mumbled some not so nice words and turned to face the voice. You were shocked to see the team running towards you, tears in their eyes.

Bucky was the first to reach you, enveloping you in a hug. He made his mistake by putting his hand on the back of your head. You let out a gut wrenching scream and he immediately let you go. His eyes widened in fear when he found his hand was covered in blood. He turned you around and gasped when he saw the giant crack in your skull.

"(Y/N)... Oh my gosh, are you okay?"

You gave him a week thumbs up before your knees gave out on you. Bucky caught you before you could hit the ground again. He picked you up and dashed back to the tower, but he was stopped by Tony.

"Give 'em to me, it'll be faster with my suit." He stated, the iron man suit already encasing him.

Bucky nodded and gently passed you to Tony. "We'll meet you up there, please, be careful with them."

Tony nodded and shot up to the top of the tower. The med-bay garage opened up, letting you and Tony in. Tony gently placed you on a table and hooked you up. He then ran to find Dr. Cho and Bruce.
