Dear Grey,
You are not perfect. You know you aren't.
"I'm just trying to get this perfect!" You yell, slamming you fist down on the desk, as I jump up at your sudden outburst of anger.
"It is perfect!" I protest.
"No."
"No what?"
"It's not perfect." Tears are streaming down the side of your face now. I put a gentle had on your back, but I know I can't take the sadness away.
"It doesn't have to be. People aren't perfect." I try to reassure you.
"I don't want to be a person then. I want to be perfect." You wipe the tears from your eyes and storm out.
I let you leave.
I leave you alone with your thoughts, despite the fact that I know they are dangerous things.
I just want you to be okay.
I just want to help you, yet you keep pushing me away.
