Darkness

Darkness,

One may not see it upon a first glance,

But upon a deeper look you will.

Darkness,

In the silence of the touchy topic,

Of the newly dead person ,

Or of the family that ran away.

Darkness,

Isn't in the big things,

The court or justice system,

Darkness,

Is in the little things,

The little towns,

And their silence,

Use to keep secrets,

That keep murders unsolved,

And people missing.

Darkness,

Isn't as visible in the big city,

As in the small town.

The small town knows darkness.
