HAVING CHILDREN IS supposed to be a happy event. Isobel Flemming begged to differ. She wanted to rid herself of her children seeing as twin pregnancies weren't quite ideal. Without hesitation, she gave them up. The twin babies ended up in the care of Miranda and Grayson Gilbert, their paternal aunt and uncle. They thought they could handle it.
That was until little Eliza started doing things a regular baby shouldn't. Moving things with her mind, her eyes changing colors. It got worse when she turned 10. Her gift became something more and even more powerful. She could do more than just move things with her mind, she was strong, and could disappear and reappear, levitate and blow things up. What really bothered Miranda and Grayson was the fact that Elena loved Eliza no matter what.
Miranda and Grayson couldn't handle it. They couldn't handle it one bit, it drove them crazy. So, they gave her up. Sending her to live with one of their hunter friends that specialized in the supernatural, Chris and Victoria Argent.
That was until Eliza mysteriously disappeared and ended right back in Mystic Falls.
