I remember a legend about soulmates, and how each person on the planet supposedly has another half for them somewhere. In Greek mythology, humans were born with eight limbs and two heads. However, since Zeus feared the power that these super-humans contained, he separated them into two beings and forced them to search for their other halves their whole lives. Though, even physically separated, each half was bound together by an invisible red string that was impossible to break; it could entangle and knot, but could never be severed by any means. No matter the time, distance, or hardships that were endured, the red string would never break.
I used to believe I was born without another half, a soulmate, someone to share my life with, because I've always been so utterly lonely my whole life, having never had any friends or a person that liked me in any way . . . but I've realized that now that I've met Will, my perception on love, happiness, and life have completely changed. And I think that, if soulmates really exist, Will is my other half.
