Hello all you lovely guys, gals, and non-binary people i'm really sorry that i haven't updated in a while i just finished school around 3 weeks ago and i'm working on a new story to post and its taking up some of my time. but here i am and i have some time to finally continue the story.

(y/n) POV.
as the others quietly talked to each other about the case and who would be going where they decided to wake you up and of course they made the awkward doctor do it since JJ secretly wanted him to interact with you. After a few minutes of quietly arguing with Reid he finally gave in and lightly shook your shoulder and softly whispered that they were about to land in a few minutes which woke you up pretty quickly since you were of course a light sleeper it was a kinda bad but good thing to yourself. As soon as you sat up you realized that everyone was staring at you
"What are you all looking at?" You said confused at to why the other were staring at you like you were a a child
"Well I mean you just woke up and you look pretty adorable when you slept" Emily pointed out smiling in a teasing way, your face started to grow red as you realized you completely just fell asleep when you could have been helping out with the case and ideas. Rossi saw the expression that showed up after Emily mentioned that you fell asleep and chuckled lightly
"Don't worry kid, you looked like you needed the sleep, you didn't miss much" he reassured as you just sighed quietly
"I'm really sorry about that guys, some things just happened at my house and it kinda wore me out" you said in a very embarrassed and apologetic tone as you looked up and saw the team smiling including Reid
"It's nothing you need to stress about" hotch spoke up in an understanding way as you just awkwardly smiled at them. You cleared your throat slightly and sat up straight
"So is there anything that I missed that I need to know about the case" you said pretending that all didn't happen. When they filled you in on everything you nodded and sat back you would occasionally sneak glances at Reid or catch him glancing at you he would just look away and just pretend he was looking at something, which you thought was pretty cute. You hoped that soon the jet would land you didn't exactly like the thought of how high you all were.
(•TIME SKIP TO WHEN THE JET LANDED•)
When we were getting off the jet you took a deep breath preparing yourself for what is about to happen as you felt a large but soft hand rest on your shoulder as you instantly looked up to see the young doctor himself, Reid as you smiled at him
"No need to be nervous, you'll do great" he smiled in encouragement
"I hope you're right" you mumbled quietly as you walked next to Reid to the cars praying that everything would go right as you all got into different cars and drove to the station
