Finally Outside

Marissa woke up in a daze. “Why is my head pounding?” she asked herself. “You hit your head on the ceiling,” a mysterious voice said. “Who’s there?” Marissa asked in fear. “I live here. Who are you?” he asked. “My name is Marissa. I come from Earth. What’s your name?” Marissa asked in curiosity. “Sorry for being so rude. My name is Ender,” said the mysterious voice. “It’s nice to meet you Ender,” Marissa said.

    “Hey I’m hungry, Do you want something to eat?”Marissa asked Ender. “Sounds good to me,”Ender said. Marissa went to the kitchen to make breakfast. Marissa and Ender had bacon, eggs, and toast. “Do you want to meet the rest of my family?” Ender asked in curiosity. “Sure, but I haven't been outside yet,” Marissa informed Ender. “That’s fine, I’ll just carry you there then,” Ender said as he picked up Marissa. “Hey put me down. I'm afraid of heights,” Marissa said in fear. “Don't worry it's not that high,” Ender said. Marissa got closer to Ender’s chest and closed her eyes. Ender tightened his grasp on Marissa. Marissa looks up and catches Ender looking at her. Ender looks away quickly.
