I was standing in between Mateo and Tyler, trying to get them apart. Any chance they get they fight over something, anything, doesn't matter how big or small it is, they will fight. And I am the only one who can manage to break them up, "I leave the room for five minutes and you guys manage to find something to fight about, really?!" I exclaimed, giving them both a glare "he started it!" they both retorted before leaning in and butting heads, glaring at each other. "ENOUGH!!" I said sternly while slapping them both on the backs of their heads, which caused them to back away groaning, "you mind telling me what this was about?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest, but no one said a word. Mateo and Tyler kept giving each other looks that could kill, while the others looked around nervously 

"guys, I asked a question" I demanded. I waited for someone to speak up, and finally, Tyler spoke up "he was going to go check on you, but I told him not to" he said glaring at Mateo "yeah, cause you thought you should go instead, cause you "apparently" know her better than I do" Mateo said, I could tell he was getting angry again. "apparently? no, I know, I know her better than you do" oh really? well, who does she spend more time with? definitely NOT you!" they were bickering again. Then I had an idea "hey, Chris, could I borrow that?" I asked, gesturing towards her bow staff, she mumbled "sure" in response as she handed it to me. It turned back into a beyard, but it didn't matter, I held it right in between the bickering boys, then willed it to form a bow staff again, which in turn, separated the boys. Both the boys exclaimed "hey!!" as they got pushed apart "Mateo, go back home and cool off" but-" now!" I demanded, pointing to the door. And with that Mateo hung his head, then walked away. Tyler walked over to me "look I-" go cool off too, just-somewhere that's not here" I said, refusing to make eye contact "y/n, please" Tyler pleaded as he reached for my hands, I quickly pulled them away "no Tyler, just go" I said sternly, still not looking him in the eyes

He too hung his head, then left

Why would either of them think they needed to check on me? I just said I needed some air,  I wasn't dying or anything, so what gives? They're confusing- correction- boys, in general, are confusing. I need to know what they were fighting about, and why it involved me. Turning to the others, I asked: "anyone mind telling me what had them all riled up like that?" they all avoided eye contact with me and fidgeted in their spots, except for Shiro. "Shiro?" all I can say is that they just really care about you, and the way you looked earlier, well, you looked like you saw a ghost and it worried them" what?" I asked, confused, "if I say anymore Tyler might kill me" with that Shiro left the training room. 

What could it be about that would make Tyler want to kill Shiro? 

Soon, the others dispersed, leaving me alone in the training room

I realized neither me nor Tyler had a chance to ask Shiro about the team-building exercise, and I kinda wanted to do that cause I've never been to earth and I'd love to see it, plus, we obviously need some team building. So I ran off in the direction Shiro did keeping my eyes peeled for him. If I know him well, and I should since I've known him since I was ten, he's probably getting lunch. I ran in the direction of the dining hall but looked in each room I passed in case he stopped for some reason. But I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings and as a result of that I ran right into someone "oof!" I grunted as I fell to the ground

I looked slightly up and saw a yellow shirt and a white apron. And just like that, I knew who it was, "hi Hunk" I smiled as I got up, dusting myself off too. "hey y/n! you heading to lunch?" no, I promised Papi I'd be back home for lunch. I'm actually looking for Shiro, have you seen him?" I asked, knowing if Shiro went to lunch, Hunk would have definitely seen him. "yes actually, I passed him on my way out of the kitchen" Hunk said pointing behind him. I could hear the bustling of the dining hall, great, I'll have to search for him. I said my goodbyes then ran off to the dining hall, it couldn't be that hard to find him. I mean seriously, he's a tall man with snow-white hair and of course, A FREAKEN METAL ARM. I really don't think it'll be difficult to find him. I got in there and started looking for a head full of white hair. I scanned and scanned then...bingo. He was at a table not far from me and of course, who's sitting with him? Adam, his husband of...well, longer than I've been alive. They were sitting next to each other, Adam was in the Garrison uniform that basically everyone else wears. Shiro's uniform is similar but it's mostly white with some black accents to represent him as the black paladin. Even though Kieth was the last black paladin, he refused to give up red as his color so Shiro got stuck with black

I walked over and got behind them "excuse me boys, this seat taken?" I asked, not really waiting for an answer. I then squeezed in between the two love birds and sat down on the bench with them. "hello uncle Shiro, uncle Adam" I chirped, "uh..hi y/n. you here for lunch?" Adam asked, obviously not happy with his seat placement. "nah, I told Papi I'd be back for lunch. I just need to talk to the big guy real quick" I said turning my attention to Shiro. I could hear Adam try to get me to leave "oh, but me and him were having-" but I interrupted  "so, Tyler was telling me about this place called a "movie theater" on earth, he said you used to take Adam there all the time. sooo.... I was wondering if maybe we could go to said place and go see a movie, you know as a team-building exercise?" I said, totally cutting off Adam "plus I've never been to earth and I REALLY wanna see where you, dad and Papi are from" I was hoping he'd say yes if I sounded interested in that part

"hey! what about me?! I'M from earth too!" Adam exclaimed in annoyance, "right, right, and you too" I dismissed, waving my hand in his direction. Shiro just rolled his eyes and laughed a little, probably at Adam's outburst, "you REALLY wanna go to earth?" Shiro asked, I just nodded my head with as much excitement as I could muster. Shiro sighed then looked over at Adam, though he was just pouting. "ok" Shiro sighed out with a smile. "YES!!" I exclaimed, bouncing out of my seat and jumping in the air. "thankyouthankyouthankyou!!" I rambled with excitement as I wrapped my arms around Shiro's neck from behind giving him a huge hug. "alright, now go back home or Lance is gonna kill you" Shiro laughed out as he returned the hug. "ok, ok, I'm going" I sighed out before heading out of the dining hall and headed back to the home
