You wore your dress and gave it a twirl as you headed outside you saw King staring at you red in the face

"(Y-y/n)! A-Are you r-ready to g-go?" He asked as you chuckled then nodded then you put your arm around King

"Hey King, didn't you tell me before that you liked Diane? Why didn't you ask her?" You said recalling your talk with him in the forest

"S-she said she already had a partner" He said quite sadly as you thought that you were just a substitute for Diane but you just dismissed the thought

"Hurry up slowpoke! I'm gonna get there faster than You!" You said as you laughed while running ages while he tried to catch up

You both were at the festival but only King was catching his breath because you had gotten used to running like this

"Hahaha! I win King" You said joyfully as a smile appeared on King's

"Yeah, I know. You always were running around and finding something to do" He said as he remembered all the times you dragged him along your adventures

"Yeah, I remember. Remember when we ran away from Dale because you ticked him off" You said

"Hey! It was you that ticked him off!" King objected and it really was you

"Hey, don't sweat the details, come on let's join the festival!" You took his hand and took him to where the dancing was

"I can't dance (Y/n)" He said as to you as you waved your hand dismissively

"Take my hand~" You stretched your hand out as he blushed but took it and you started dancing (Dance name) as you led (The roles have been switched). A while later you were by the refreshments with Diane

"Hey Diane, where's your partner?" You asked as she looked as equally confused as you

"What partner? I don't have one" She said as you were still both equally confused

"Huh? King said he didn't ask you because he already got a partner" You said as Diane caught the drift

"U-I'm, yeah! I gotta go meet my partner now uh. Bye!" She said as she rushed off as you thought she was weird

"What were you doing (Y/n)? You turned to see King holding two glasses as he passed you one

"I was talking to Diane and asked her where her partner went" You said taking a sip of the drink as King looked distressed

"W-what did she say?" He said hoping that she played along even though she knew nothing about it

"She said that she had to go meet her partner or something" You said taking a sip from your drink once more while King looked relieved Diane didn't spill

"Okay, wanna go somewhere?" He asked

"Sure, dancing was never my forte anyway" You said as he led you away from the festival

"Hey babe~ let's have some fun~" A man who was completely drunk and wasted came up to you two and started flirting with you

"I do believe you are drunk sir, please go home" You said politely but the man was so drunk that he had the audacity to slap you in the face because no one would have the guts to slap a Holy knight or a sin for that matter

"Bish! If I say we have some fun then we have some fun! You're coming with me whether you like it or not!" He said as he was beginning to drag you and King thought he should fight him without his sacred weapon because he's just an ordinary person but that went wrong

You were now enjoying the night breeze along with a crystal clear lake while King put an ice pack on his cheek

"Cheer up King, things could be worse" Though you couldn't think of anything that could be worse

"What's worse than losing a fight against a drink man? Especially when someone you like watched You get beaten" King said mumbling the last part do you couldn't hear it but you heard a little

"What was it King? Someone you like?" You said as he turned red

"Y-Yeah! Someone I like! That's Diane!" He said cursing at himself for saying Diane as you hid your disappointment

"Okay, so why'd you bring me here anyway? You like Diane, so why me?" You asked already knowing the answer would probably to make her jealous

"B-because u-um...... well you see........" He fidgeted nervously as he was thinking to tell you he likes you Ang give you a kiss or not saying anything

"Just say it already King" You looked at him as he took a deep breath and straight up kissed you as you got shocked but returned it anyway

Fortune favors the brave right? Minutes later you were separated because of an evil thing called oxygen. King then looked at you as his face turned bright red

"I-i-I l-love y-you (Y/n)!" He managed to get out as you laughed and ruffled his hair

"I love you too silly" You two then spent the night enjoying the beautiful night sky and the crystal clear lake
