Scott hasn't called me, I want to think that's good but I have the feeling that something bad is going to happen that's why I've been following Liam without him knowing

I don't have practice today and it's already the end of his school day so I think I'll ask him if he wants to go out to eat.

I smile and start walking outside to wait for Liam, while I'm waiting for him I look through Instagram and laugh at some IG stories

"Hi" I hear somebody behind me talking to me, so I lock my phone and turn around to see who is it but I don't know her

"Uhm hi? Have we met?" Maybe I just forgot

"Actually no" She chuckles "My name is Gracie"

"Well, hi Gracie, is there something I can help you with?" God damn where's Liam?

"So, I was wondering" She takes a piece of her hair and starts twisting it between her fingers "I just finish my last period, and you seem bored, why not go out to eat?" She smiles

"Uhm actually I'm waiting for someone..." I see Liam walking out the school doors "And there he is, it was nice meeting you, I have to go, bye" I say before walking towards the little beta "Hey Li"

He smiles "Hi T"

"Let's go to my truck" he nods and we go to the parking lot

Once we're inside the truck Liam talks

"Thank you...again" I get out of the school's parking lot and frown

"For what?" I can feel his blue eyes all over my face

"For everything, I don't know how to thank you for all the things you've done for me" I stop at a red light and look at him shaking my head

"You don't have to, I don't expect anything in exchange, I just want to help" My cheeks are warm so I look back at the road

"You are truly changing... I'm proud of you" Proud... Usually, people say a lot of things about me, but not that they are proud... not even my dad

Liam's voice brings me back to the present "T, are you okay?" He says concerned

"Yeah... it's just that no one has ever told me that he's proud of me, it feels strange but I'm not mad about it" The light turns green so I keep driving to the place where we'll eat

"Well, I'm sure you'll hear it many times from now on, you really want to change and that says a lot about you" I smile

"Why are you so good to me? Your pack hates me, I gave all of you a lot of reasons but, you just don't seem to care" It's true, he believes in me more than I'd want to

"Because, I don't care about the old Theo, I care about you, the Theo that wants to be a better person, and not all the pack hates you" Why is he so kind?!

"Thanks for that" I say

"You're welcome, I have an idea" he says with excitement in his voice

"I'm listening" I say while parking next to the little restaurant, and looking at the beta

"I need to know something first" okay... this is weird "Do you trust me?"

"A hundred percent, why?" He smiles

"Great, you'll have to wait until we get there, for now, let's eat" He winks and gets out of the truck leaving with no words, and that means a lot
