She was on a raid with Toothless, her adopted brother, when they were shot down by Hiccup. Hiccup soon tamed Toothless, but Naomi wouldn't stop fighting. It was when Astrid faced the Flightmare, Naomi defended a Viking, and her cousin. They reunited, and she loves to go on flights with Toothless, even though he's slightly jealous of Astrid.
