I took a shower when I realized it was almost time to meet him. I still felt really uncomfortable with everything. From the moment I woke up yesterday until to this moment.
I hated this so much but at least later I'll know everything. I got out of the shower and went to the closet. I opened the door and saw bunch of clothes just hanging.
I raised one eyebrow and walked in as I see a card again. It has the golden bunny logo that I assume was his trademark. Does he expect me to wear this? I held unto the red flashy dress where I found the card.
I don't really like the dress, it's very eye catching and disturbing I hate it. But I couldn't do anything because he stated this is what I should be wearing later.
I started to get dressed and got ready. It was already night time. After fixing myself I headed out of the closet and sat on my bed waiting for him.
I waited for almost an hour before a knock was heard from the door. "Eunsoo are you ready? May I come in?" I can hear Jungkook from outside
"yes I'm ready" I answered. He opens the door and walks towards my direction. "shall we go now?" he offered out his hand making me look at him. I nodded and stood up.
I thought I was just going to meet him but why does he look so elegant? I placed my arm around his and walked out of the room
As expected there were many men in black outside just standing like mannequins watching over me like I'm some escapee going to escape again.
I held tight unto jungkook avoiding to look at them. I didn't know my grip was too tight until he groaned. "sorry" I said while loosening up.
We continue to walk until we were standing in front of two large wooden doors. "as long as we're inside please stay quiet" he said he said before opening the door.
When he did a huge crowd starts clapping and I realized we were standing above them.
I don't know what is happening but I'm having a bad feeling. "ladies and gentlemen thank you for attending tonight's event. Today I'm going to announce something important" Jungkook said the crowd was silent and was staring at us
"I would like to introduce this lady beside me, as my Lover, and only mine " he said. my eye widened up, shocked from what I heard.
He looked away from me and focused to the Crowd whose current clapping at us. What the heck did he just say to them.
"No it's actually—" I was in the brink of explaining to them that it was a misunderstanding when he pulled me closer. I froze up as he moves closer placing lips on mine in front of everyone
The crowd went wild after the kiss. I couldn't even comprehend what happened to me.
Until I found myself sitting down on his office "why did you do that!" I yelled "It's for your benefit." he answered "What do you mean benefit?! Kissing me without permission in front of a crowd, Benefit?!" I almost stand up when he looked at me
"so you wanna expose that it's not true. What do you think will happen? Do you really wanna ask this? Or do you have something much more important to ask" he said
I sat down calming myself. I glared at him while he walks arms crossed to his chair. "where do you want me to start?" he asked
"from the beginning" I said he stands from his seat and slowly walks to my direction. "Let's start from why did I kill your parents" he said but paused "Ah no, let's start on why you can't go out. Isn't this much more satisfying?" he chuckled
I raised one eyebrow waiting for him to talk "the reason why you're not allowed to go out is because your family's reputation is the worst" he said
"The worst?" I looked at him with confusion. "didn't you know you're family has many crimes? If not, then I'll enumerate them" he said pausing.
"First, corruption.Your family has been stealing funds from the government for years now. Second, physical assault. Beating your maids and servants for no good reason. And third but definitely not the least, human trafficking" he said
I couldn't hardly believe it. I know my parents are strick but they are not cruel. "why did you kill them?" I asked while looking at the blank space.
"For Revenge, Revenge for the them killing the people I love and treasure, Revenge for my sister" he said
He looks at me with sorrow in his eyes, is he okay? "Your sister?" I asked "You might not know, but my sister was one of the women that your parents had sold to some weird people. I thought I could save her but she died before I had the chance" he said
"Who are you? Aside from your name I don't understand how can you do this" I asked "Eunsoo, have you ever met the king of the criminal underworld?" he asked.
"No I haven't" I replied
"then now you met him" he said giving me a serious look. And couldn't believe this person was the kind of person he said he is.
I know he was dangerous but I never expected him to be someone as powerful as his position.
"I have another question" I asked "that will be the last that I will answer for tonight" he said stretching his arms.
"Why did you kill my brother? If my parents did that then I'm sure he wouldn't participate in such a thing" I said
He raised one eyebrow at me "are you sure about that Eunsoo?" he asked. I looked at him directly in the eye "yes. I'm sure of it" I said.
"then you are wrong" a familiar voice from the back said. I slowly turned to see if it was who I think it is. My eyes couldn't believe who I saw and tears were falling from my eyes.
"you're alive?!"
