Let's play by the black and white keys.
Let's dance by the birch trees,
Marked by black incisions on white
Or a calm black day flooded by a white night.
Let's dream that when your best friend fell,
And you did nothing, bidding him farewell,
You did good because you are good
Because you did the things good people should.
Let's remember how you gave white coins
To feed the starving children white tenderloins.
Let's remember how you protested,
Honorable zeal you manifested.
But let's agree that you still can't fall sleep;
For your best friend, in the darkness, you still weep.
Because who said you couldn't cause an upheaval
Or that a good person cannot turn evil?
