"Daddy! Daddy!" Addie screams as she runs into the kitchen.

"Yes Princess?" She jumps into my arms and I poke her nose.

"Dance with me!" She claps her hands.

"Okay Princess."

"Mommy!" Addie yells.

"Yes Addison?" Riley asks as she enters the kitchen.

"Turn on some music, so Daddy and me can dance!" Riley smiles fondly a the little girl in my arms. Music soon flows through the kitchen.

"Kiss daddy." I plead. Addie smiles and kisses my cheek. I put her down so we can hold hands and spin around the kitchen.

-

"Tell Daddy you love him and we can leave, Addie." I hear Riley say from the hallway. I set my phone down on my nightstand.

"Daddy!" Addie comes running into my room.

"Yes, baby girl?"

"I love you!" She kisses me on the cheek and I smiles at her.

"I love you too princess. Have a good day at school!"

"You have a good day too! Tell Uncle Mikey that I love him!" She giggles and runs out of my room.

-

"Well there's that song finished." Calum says. We have just finished a late lunch and gotten back to song writing.

"We need to fine tune some things, but yea." Luke shrugs.

"It's good. I like it." Michael says.

"What about you Ashton?" Luke asks.

"Agh!" I hit my head against the wall again.

"Geez, a simple no would've sufficed." Luke huffs.

"No, Luke, I liked the song. I did but I am shot for ideas."

"Oh, ok." Luke sighs. My phone rings and Hostage by Sia plays. I know it's Riley because that is her ringtone.

"You ruined it!" Calum yells, covering his ears. We have a rule where during song writing we don't listen to music, or it might influence the songs too much.

"Turn it off!" Luke yells.

"Sorry!" I yell then I run for my phone, in my coat, "Hello?"

"Ashton!" Riley says happily, I hear Addie cheer in the background.

"Hi, Ri. What's up?"

"Just picked up Addison from preschool and she wanted to talk to you."

"Alright, give her the phone. Love you."

"Love you too." Then I hear a distant, "Don't drop Mommy's phone."

"Daddy!" Addie yells. I sit back down in my chair at the table.

"Addison! How are you?"

"Daddy! I had the best day at preschool!"

"Oh? What happened?"

"Ms. Parker let me swing on the swing all by myself." I chuckle at the fact that something that simple can make my daughter so happy. Well that's a three year old for you.

"Wow baby! That is so cool!"

"We are at home, Daddy. Mommy says I have to hang up the phone."

"Alright. Have a good day."

"Daddy will you get me some gummies. I ran out today."

"Yes, of course, sweetheart."
