The End In Friend

About 3 weeks later we were out of school. I avoided talking to both Maria and Ricky. It's honestly kind of dumb how our friendship ended over some guy, but that wasn't really the reason. It was more because they were selfish. If one of them had the chance to be with Jacob, I would be sad but happy for them. Neither Ricky or Maria wanted me with Jacob, they didn't even want me to talk to him. Welp I guess they were just fake friends. The bad thing is that we were all in the same friend group which was awkward. Actually I'm not sure about that anymore. When we were in school, Ricky and Maria didn't hang out in our usual spot at lunch anymore. It was just me, Janet, Melanie, Alfonso,  Nick, and sometimes Sally and Claire and Ana would join us, but it was just us. No more Ricky, no more Maria.

About two weeks later I went to summer school. I didn't really want to go but I had to do something. My schedule came in and I checked my classes. I texted all my friends and I had no classes with any of them. Just my luck! I decided to post it on my story and see if any people I knew had classes with me. I put my phone down and took a nap. When I woke up, I woke up with 3 Snapchats. One of them was from Jacob! I went on to Snapchat and saw that he had sent me a text. "We have all classes together for summer school". Oh no, I was trying to get over Jacob, now he tells me we have classes together ughhh! I responded with "Oh cool!" I opened my other snaps and some random people I knew also had classes with us. I was scared to see him the next day. The last time we had an actual conversation with e was the one where I confessed. Now that I was on social media, I decided to check Ricky and Marias stories. Oh no Ricky and Maria are also going to summer school, but the good news is that they're not in my classes.

I looked at my phone. It was 6:57 am. It was time to get ready for summer school. I wish I didn't have to go! I got ready and headed out the door. When I walked into my class, I saw we had seating arrangements. I was sitting two tables away from Jacob. He was already in his seat. I just decided to do what I've been doing for the past two moths and just avoid all awkwardness. The two hours were up and it was now time for a break. As I was heading out the door, I hear someone scream my name. "Gabriella! I need to tell you something!" It was Jacob.
