The two soldiers were outside of the camp. They were exploring the garden district and having fun. They discovered a small lake that people would swim in. Sharpe and Charles smiled at each other then pulled their shirts and pants off. It was easier to hide wet underwear then a full uniform. Charles amd Sharpe held hands and jumped into the water.

Both men laughed and splashed each other playfully. They swam around in the cool water. Of course they had taken their bracelets off beforehand. They were physical items. But the men had a very good friendship. They splashed each other and Charles had an idea. He took a deep breath and dove down. He gathered shells and rocks from the bottom. Sharpe looked concerned and was worried. Charles came up and swam to the grass nearby. He set the goodies down and smiled at his friend. Sharpe blinked but swam over. Charles showed him the pretty shells and rocks. Sharpe looked at them and then at his friend. Charles nodded happily. Sharpe hugged him and smiled.

Sharpe pulled himself out of the water. Charles watched him curiously. Sharpe began to attach a shell to each bracelet. He held them up and smiled. Charles gasped and smiled. He pulled himself out but slipped and fell downwards. Sharpe gasped and dove down after him. Sharpe grabbed Charles and helped him onto land. Charles coughed a bit then smiled sheepishly. Sharpe nuzzled his friend then put the bracelet on him. And charles put the other onto Sharpe. The two were inseparable best friends forever. And there was no doubt about that.
