Heart of Flames: Part 5

Akari's pov 

I ran after Natsu. I finally found him underneath a tree by a lake.

"Natsu!"

I ran over to him. He looked up at me.

"What happened?" I asked.

He didn't say anything. I sighed and sat down next to him. There was silence between the two of us. 

"I don't know....."

"Huh?" 

"I don't know what happned......"

I looked at Natsu.

"What do you mean?"

"I finished my mission, and I was walking back to the guild when I saw her.......And.....She was dead...."

I didn't say anything. I couldn't. I suddenly found myself hugging Natsu.

"It'll be alright......"

He suddenly lifted up my chin, and our lips touched.
