I slid there on the pallet I share with my little brother just thinking about life. I thought back to when i was a child and how things were when i didnt have to worry about what we had to do to make it to the next day, It wasn't always this way we used to have a dad our mom was nice  beautiful and caring  and we used to have a family. Then everything went wrong.

FLASHBACK

Arabian: 10

Keiko: turning 8

Legacy: 12

Twins: not born yet

" HIGHER ARABIAN I WANNA GRAB IT" I yelled as I sat on her shoulders and reached for the bee hive in our tree.

" i can't" She said

"here hit it with this she said handing he the stick that was dangling in front of her.

"I'll catch it" Legacy said  moving to where he though it would drop

i swung the stick knocking the bee hive out of the tree

"OUCH" Arabian as the bee hive hit her head before dropping to the ground and cracking open releasing a swarm of bees

Arabian took off running with me clinging to the back of her head trying not to fall

bye the time we had gotten in to the house the bees had gotten a hold of us and we had bump everywhere

"MOMMY" I cried

then the front door popped open revealing our Angry  father

"WHY ARE THERE BEES ALL OVER THE FRONT YARD, AND WHY DOES IT LOOK LIKE Y'ALL WERE ATTACKED BY THEM!" My dad said

"It was a simple miscalculation" Arabian said scratching her arms

"why were y'all playing with the bee hive" he ask grabbing the calamine lotion and putting it on my legs and arms "and what's burning" he rushed to the kitchen to turn the oven which contained the overly chard toast the kids were promised

"because mama said to go get some honey for the toast" I said

"all our hard work for nothing" Keiko said

"where is your mother" My dad asked furiously

"I don't know" we said in a unison

he sighed heavily " here"he said handing the lotion to legacy " Make sure they put this on"

"where're you going"Arabian asked

"to go check on your mother" he responded

Arabian followed him upstairs

"KEYANNI ARE YOU FU- HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND" He said as he entered the room that smelt like alcohol

she had lines on powder on the table
