"Kevin, that's not funny, give them back!"

"It's pretty funny"

"Kevin! I need them for the next number, give them back!"

"You're free to get them" i grinned sarcastically

"I can't reach them, Dickhead!"

"Ooh, call me that again" i chuckled

"Give me my fucking tap shoes, Dickhead"

"Say please."

"...please" he curled his bottom lip in frustration, almost cringing to have to say it. Nonetheless he clenched his fists and swallowed his pride. His brows were furrowed. I stared at his bottom lip as he bit down on it

"I suppose" I sighed drearily, reaching up to the top of the filing cabinet and recovering his shoes for him.

"God, you're such an ass.." he sighed as he grabbed his shoes, clutching them so tightly his fingertips were white

"Yeah? What're you gonna do about it? You gonna hit me?"

He stared at me with his big, angry eyes, making me smile. He didn't respond, he just glared

"Oh, that's right, you can't do anything about it, can you?" I teased

"Fuck you.." he mumbled

"What was that?" I smirked

"Fuck you" He repeated clearly

I gave his shoulder a push, bumping him into the wall.

"I take it the cast still hasn't learned the dance?"

"Nope. Can't figure it out for their lives.."

"Just cut the number"

"No, I spent weeks on it, i'm not cutting it"

"Isn't the show in like.. a few weeks?"

"Yep" he sighed "I'm going to drill it into them or die trying"

"I want to watch"

"God no, you always make fun"

"That's all I know to do.. c'mon, I wanna watch you yell at some kids"

"They're not kids, they're sixteen, they can handle it"

"That's your motto for finding boyfriends as well, I presume"

"Fuck off"

He put on his shoes and made his way out to the stage, and I quickly followed behind, abandoning my project.

It took forty minutes for them to get it at all. Connor was right on the brink of an outburst, and a group of tired, acne-ridden teenagers tried their best to follow his directions, to no avail.
The kid looked like he was about to lose it. In addition to the lack of compliance from the cast, I was there to shout at him, making as many snide and suggestive remarks as I could think of.
I should lay off, I know, but where's the fun in that?

"Kevin, I've had it up to here, I swear"

"Have you?"
