You Saved Me

Himiko's head slammed into the locker, making her vision go white. "What's wrong? Why aren't you using your maaaagic to get away?" One of the bullies taunted, making the others laugh. "P-Please stop..." Himiko pleaded weakly as her head rang. "Or what? You'll turn me into a frog?" Another bully jeered.
"Or I'll beat you to a pulp," a voice said. The bullies spun around to see Tenko Chabashira standing in the doorway. The leader of the bullies laughed nervously. "T-Tenko! How nice to s-see you here!" "That isn't a mutual feeling," Tenko scoffed.
"W-We were just leaving!" The bully continued, inching toward the door. Tenko smiled. "You best be on your way home, then. And stay away from this girl from now on, 'kay?"
"Got it!" The bully said, before scampering out the door, followed by their passé. After ensuring that each of the bullies had left, Tenko turned her attention to the traumatized Himiko. Tenko grabbed the redhead's shaky hand and pulled her up onto her unstable legs.
"You... saved me..." Himiko said quietly.
"T-Thank you... Chabashira-San!" The small girl said, giving her a weak smile. The smile that Tenko returned was blinding. "Just call me Tenko! And you are..?"
"Himiko Yumeno, b-but please call me H-Himiko!"
"Alright, Himiko! From now on, we're walking home together! No bullies will mess with you from now on." Tenko said, not leaving any room for argument, not that Himiko would have anyway. "O-Okay... what street are you on..?" The two girls exchanged addresses, and learned that they were only a few streets apart.
"Alright, let's head home." Tenko said, and they left school together.
