When she looks up to the sky from above, a blue hue reflecting the lake nearby. A single cloud, a shape that she cannot quite explain is levitating in a clear background like a leaf on a calm water stream. She is surprised how she can be content at a time like this.
She looks back to her own viewpoint, the ground is dim and cool as ever. There are tall stiff hay walls surrounding her in this corn maze she thought was a good idea at first to explore 'till the end, for a free coupon for fresh produce. Now she is not quite sure if the coupon worth it now that her time limit- she and the farmer earlier agree upon is soon close to an end. It did not really matter much to her as she is rather happy taking her time to explore on a beautiful day like this.
Someone taps her shoulder just as she was making her way down the confusing maze pathway. There she saw him when she thought she was alone; it is a tall man with dark hair and eyes that sparkles like the whole galaxy. He flashes her a smile that shows how genuinely happy he is just like her internally.
Of course, she developed a small liking to him when he spoke to her in his calm and velvety voice. Both she and the man successfully got out of the maze and he was such a gentleman, offering to pay for her produce even though she rejected at first. Somehow in this thick corn maze, they managed to find each other and share a bond with one another that felt like it could last a whole lifetime.
This one moment of their encounter is something she dearly wished it could last forever, but new feelings fade away with time.
Both she and the charming man have been together for years, so long that they are so comfortable farting in front of each other. It is true that the longer you know someone, the more you get to see their "true" self peaking out throughout the years spend with them. This is the case for her and her long term boyfriend.
Under his charming Prince Charming like smile, is something completely mysterious, sinister, some persona far from his angelic image. It is weird to say this, but she loves that side of him. "Babe, could you please help me clean the bathroom?" she calls to her boyfriend sitting on the couch watching a tv drama.
He shifts his head slowly from the tv to her. His face is blank and slightly irritated. "My feet hurt, you know I have been working all day, hon."
"But you have been off from work for two days. Can you at least help me wash the dishes?"
He sighs. "Please, I beg you my feet hurts so bad that I can't even walk," he whines.
"Babe..."
"Let me rest dear. I'm trying to catch up to my show. I'm not going to be able to watch anything else for the week you know."
