"This is your alma mater? It's incredible!" Mark exclaimed as he looked around the empty halls of Haechan's former school.
Haechan smiled as he greets the staffs they see on their way. He is popular in school because of his singing voice. No doubt they have entered the school premises easily.
They took a ride on the elevator and Haechan pressed the highest floor of the school building.
"Highest floor huh?" Mark exclaimed.
Haechan didn't answer.
Mark sighed so loud that he made Haechan looked at him. "Isn't this taking too long? I mean, the elevator." Mark added.
"Are you afraid of small space—"
"NO!"
"Alright, then just wait. It's the highest floor anyways." Haechan said. "You actually remind me of someone in my past, but I don't want to talk about it."
Again, Mark sighed and stared at his shoes. He doesn't know what to expect, but he surely is excited and nervous at the same time.

"Here we are, the most beautiful view!" said Haechan, who was smiling all the way while pushing the glass door.
The boys are at the school's highest floor, also known as the rooftop, and are seeing Seoul getting soaked because of the rain. The rooftop has a transparent roof, which allows sunlight to peek through the area, but prevents the people from getting wet from the rain— which made the scene better.
As they stepped on the rooftop area, none of the dared to say a thing. Mark was so enthralled with what he's seeing with his own eyes.
"I've never seen Seoul in this kind of view before. I've never been this high— I mean. This.. High.. I mean—"
"You don't have to explain. I get it." Haechan shushed Mark and let him enjoy the perspective.
Both of the boys were enjoying the serenity of the place. To them, nothing beats the feeling of seeing landscapes with a tight grip of reality. It's not the panoramic view they see on books or internet, but a real 360-degree sight of the city in which they live in.
The two were lulled by the sound of the rain dropping to the transparent roof, and suddenly forgot to speak, but they liked it. They suddenly forgot how bitter their pasts were and just focused upon getting rejuvenated.
Haechan looked at Mark and gave out a smile. "I used to take my ex-girlfriend here."
"My girl— I mean my ex-girlfriend told me once that she wants to see this kind of view. This exact view, based on her descriptions." Mark replied.
The boys stared again at the wide span of fhe city while reminiscing the memories they've had in their different pasts. They both felt melancholic yet relaxed because of the stillness of the rooftop. No people are there except for Mark and Haechan.
It continued for few more minutes, until Mark faced Haechan. He was looking at the boy's physique, which he found cute.
"Haechan."
The boy looked at Mark right after he heard his name. This time, Mark cupped Haechan's cheeks for about three seconds, both staring intimately into each other's eyes.
Haechan suddenly felt awkward so he broke the dead air, "W-what is it?"
Mark smirked and gave Haechan a very tight hug. "Thank you for all of these. I wish I could spend more time with you and eventually forget about my ex."
After what Mark had said, there was silence between the both of them, who were still in a hug.
They both hoped that this isn't the first and last time they'll meet.
"What time is it?" asked Mark.
"Ten minutes before five o'clock noon."
"Oh. I guess it's time to go home. I still want to take a stroll with you though. But—"
"But you need to go home."
