Part five

Finally! Another post! Anyway, this will be based off literally the best episode of season two in my opinion.. EPISODE 5!!

Y/n's pov.
  I.. I was already awake, HAH! you thought I was gonna wake up this time! I've been up all night basically, practicing cooking yakisoba. I've gotten pretty good at it since I'm a quick learner. "retsuko!!" I yelled to her. "Come try my yakisoba!!" I yelled again. I seen her slowly making her way to the kitchen. "Ok...." she mumbled. She got a bowl, put some in, and took a bite. Her face lighted up. "Wow! That's pretty good! I didn't know you could make yakisoba?!" She had a hue on her face and a smile. "Yea! I just learned today!" I smiled. "Huh!?! You mean you were up all nigh-" "yea!" I smiled. I drank coffee.. I'm not tired at all. "Anyway, you should start getting dressed because you only have 10 minutes!" I told her.  She quickly ran back to the room and began getting dressed. I quickly scarfed down the rest of the yakisoba.
*epic time skip*
As I walked out of the elevator, I saw Retsuko and Fenneko talking to Tsunoda... "hey, guys.. what are you doing?" I asked. "Trying to get anai to help since you want him to so badly" Retsuko sighed. I blushed. Yesterday once we got home, I literally BEGGED Retsuko to get him to help us. Tsunoda went in and did her thing. "Before you got here, Haida showed me the messages anai sent him... anai is pretty mad ri-" we both turned to tsunoda walking out of the room, shaking. "Time to bring out the pig guns" fenneko said into a walkie talkie. Ton went into the room. I didn't bother looking because he'd probably fail too. Ton came out of the room quickly and went to the tea room, sobbing. "The pig guns failed!!" Komiya's voice was heard. "Y/n! You go in there!" Retsuko whisper yelled to me. "You may be our only hope!" She said. "Fine.. what ever" I rolled my eyes. I walked into the room, and sat down. "Hey anai.." I greeted him with a small smile. "Do you think you can help us out tomorrow? I mean.. if you don't want to you dont ha-" "I can try.." he said without looking at me. I could see a light tent of red on his face. "Thank you anai" I patted his shoulder with a smile, and he just looks away, still blushing. 'Is he embarrassed or something?' I thought as I left the room. Literally everyone in the office was standing outside the door, staring at me with a shocked expression. "What?" I question. "Y-you managed to get him to do something!" Fenneko grabbed me by the shirt and pulled me down to her view(if your taller. If you're her height, she just pulled you closer to her face). "Yeah? What's the big deal anyway?" I question and stood back up. Everyone just watched me walk to the tea and coffee room. "Jeez.. am I the first person to do that, or what?" I question as I pour hot water into a cup. I then put a tea bag in and mix it some, making sure to get the flavor. I pour some sugar(unless you like your tea plain!) in as well. I took a sip "AH!!" I yelped. THIS TEA IS HOT AS HELL!!! i growled.

*time skip to the festival!*
I walked in only to see haida finishing up fixing our griddle so.. we can cook, lol.
"Oh, hey y/n!" Haida smiled. "Sup haida!" I walked over, and got behind the griddle, next to Retsuko. "So.. looks like I'm cooking.." I shrugged. Anai really didn't look like he wanted to help, so I respected that. "Yeah! Heres all the ingredients!" Retsuko gave them to me. "Ok.. let's hope I remember how.." I sighed and began. I've actually only did this once. It could've been beginner's luck on it turning out good. I was sweating, the steam was making my fur/scales/feather humid and burned my eyes. "May I get one yakisoba please!" Someone asked. "Coming right u- mom?! You came?!" Retsuko asked as she was boxing the yakisoba noodles as I cooked them. "Mhm!" She nodded as Retsuko handed it to her. "Looks pretty tasty!" Her mom said and took a bite. "Hm... it's decent, but it tastes a little over cooked. Maybe add more water and a bit more sauce" she said as she chewed. "It's edible though!" She quickly added. "Huff.. ok.." I huffed out. "I..its hot out here!" I whined and kept cooking. Ton's daughters came over(I thought they were boys at first because I didn't notice the skirts..). "Daddyyy!! Is this your yuckisoba stand? Get it? Yucky?" They said as they each quickly took a box of it. "Ready?!" They said, and began to race. They ate it all at least.. "ew!! Its kinda burnt!!" One said, but swallowed it anyway. "I know right?!" The other said. I rolled my eyes. "I'm aware. My cooking sucks" I smirked. "I.. might give up soon.. retsuko.. you may have to take over.." I then said as a sudden wave of lightheaded-ness hit me. "Ok!" She smiled.

*a few moments later*
I noticed kabae, her husband, and children come up to me. "We want yakisoba!!" Her kids yelled at me. "Sorry.. its kinda burnt apparently.. and.. you wouldn't like it anyway" I sighed as I looked down at the grill. ".. how about you ask anai?" Kabae looked at me. "I don't think he wants to help.." I frowned.

Anai's pov.

I.. wait.. y/n doesn't think i want to help? They never asked me. That's until I saw kabae come up to me. "Hey you..we could really use your help right.. you know what to do.. theres a song within these noodles.. only you can sing.." she smiled at me. I looked at Y/n. To be honest.. I'm only doing this for them..

(YYAAAS)
"I hope you like it.." I gave the kids some yakisoba. I looked back at y/n, who was sweating. "You did fine.." I smiled at them and put a hand on their shoulder, like they usually did to me. They looked up at me.. I honestly never noticed how pretty their eyes were. "Thank you" they smiled as I handed them a box of yakisoba. "Look anai.. we'll need more boxes.. so please!" Retsuko looked back at me. I rolled my eyes and began.
*time skip*
"We did it guys!! We sold it all!!" Retsuko smiles. I just huffed. I was exhausted now. "Good job anai.." retsuko smiled at me. I just look away. "You did great" Y/n stood up and.. hugged me? Are they actually hugging me..? I questioned as mu face became a tomato. I just leaned into their embrace with a contented smile on my face. They didn't seem to mind that I was sweating either. Their touch is so soft...

Ok! You guys are getting closer now! After this chapter, I'm going by my own story if you didn't see the other note. This is probably my longest chapter so far!
