August 17th 1974
It was the summer holidays, for many that meant parties and dancing, for others reading and arts and for some sitting alone and thinking about a blue eyed boy. Amongst that some was Brian May, tall, dark, handsome and 17- also in love. Yes, in love. Completely and utterly sunken into the depths of admiration and longing, lusting over one Roger Taylor, who had also been swallowed up by the fluttering feeling of dropping into a pit of warmth.Brian sat on the edge of his bed, in a room covered with posters of various rock groups along astrology diagrams, cluttered book shelves and records stacked up next to a lava lamp he was gifted at Christmas. He sat there thinking about the blond boy he had fallen so hard for, thinking about when he would next see his gorgeous face, graze his fingers along his fair skin, connect their lips in a passionate dance. He was lightly gripping the polaroid photo of the boy, standing in the ocean with the water up to his knees and his trousers rolled up. His hair blew in the wind and the sun shone on his skin, his smile was vibrate and genuine as he looked into the camera, such a beautiful day that was.

The boys walked down the sandy slope to the open beach, watching as the blue waves lapped over each other making a soft crashing sound, not one of chaos, but of peace. The smiles that spread across their rosey cheeks where not in their control as they wondered down to the golden scene below. Their hands interwind, as the salty breeze flowed through their hair. As one lead the other into the shallows of the ocean, giggling and splashing as they did. His childish manner warming the older boys heart, causing the feeling of fluttering butterflies to fill his stomach, watching in awe as his own angel created ripples in the water with his fingertips.
~**~*That was the last time they had seen each other, both forever longing for more time, but sadly being denied it. See the boys weren't meant to see each other, they were suppose to be rivals, yet their hearts swooned for the other. The families of the two boys had agreed it would be best for them to be separated, after a certain incident had occurred, banning the boys from meeting each other's loving glance again. But that hadn't been the case, their adoration for one and other too strong to not be expressed. So they would meet up in secret, the feeling of rebelling making the encounters even more thrilling.
Yet it had been a long time since either had felt that feeling, being away from each other for a long time proving difficult as there never was a right time. So Brian sat on his bed, his book that he took no interest in when Roger was on his mind tossed to one side, and sulked. He played memories of the two of them round in his head, smiling ever so slightly at the thought of them.
He let out a deep breath before flopping down onto his bed, holding the polaroid up with one arm in the air and longing to be back there. It was getting late, but he still couldn't sleep, it had past 11 now, midnight right around the corner. He slid the polaroid into his bedside table draw, under his maths book, incase his Mother came snooping. That's when he heard the quiet tapping on the glass of his widow, he slowly got up and walked over to where the sound was coming from. He noticed pebbles where bouncing off the glass every few seconds. Brian opened the window and peered out into the warm night, gazing the scene for anything out of the ordinary.
"Psst! Brian, down here!" A voice whisper-yelled from below.
Brian prefer down to see a short blond boy smiling up at him, his face lit up as he realised who it was, the boy he had been thinking about whenever he got the chance.
"Rog! What are you doing here?" He whispered back, not being able to hold back the smirk that plastered itself over his face.
"I came to see you of course! Come down." Roger beckoned the dark haired boy.
"I can't my parents!" Brian argued back much to his dismay.
"Climb out the window! Please, I need to see you." He begged with his blue eyes.
"Hmph okay!" Brian smiled before steadily climbing from his bedroom window, using the trellis that was plastered to the wall as a ladder. Once the ground was close enough he jumped down, immediately turning around to face Roger and running into his arms.
