The Fairy Tail Boat

Now, I had always loved the water. I loved swimming and just being in the water. However I did not like the idea of going out to sea on a small boat. I was not out to find the One Piece and never really trusted boats. I never trusted planes either but back to the story. Thankfully like Wendy, I was one of the few Dragon Slayers who did not get motion sickness. So I felt like this was going to be an easy ride.

Wendy and I had just gotten to the docks and saw everyone standing around, waiting for the boat. I now had the teams down. It was Natsu and Happy. Lucy and Cana. Gray and Juvia. Gajeel and Levi. Freed and Bigslow. Elfman and Lisanna. Wendy and I. And I was surprised at who Alex had chosen. The final team was Alex and Romeo. Wendy and I walked over to them and I spoke, "Nice, you chose Romeo, good choice". "So you and Wendy teamed up then?", Romeo said. "Yeah, we are a great team", I said. "Cool, but don't think we will go easy on you", Romeo said. "We'll give it all we've got", Wendy said. The boat then pulled up in the dock and we started to board. Then we ran into a problem.

"Uhhh~~ everything... is all... spiny....", Wendy said nauseously. Yep, Wendy now has motion sickness. I guess you gain motion sickness as you get older... good to know. She was on the side of the boat right next to Natsu and Gajeel. I rubbed her back and spoke, "It's okay Wendy, we'll be there soon. Just hang in there", I said. She tried to give herself a support spell to get rid of the motion sickness but that failed. I then got an idea. I used my Aether to create a carpet. Yes a carpet. I'm about to Aladdin this. "Wendy, come here", I said. She slowly made her way over and got onto the carpet. It then started to float in the air and her face started to gain color again.

"H-How...", Wendy said still a little nauseous. "This carpet is made from my Aether. You are riding energy. So it does not have any motions. It is just there. It is like when you fly with Carla. You won't get sick as long as you are on this", I said, "Here, Natsu, Gajeel, get over here". I then made them a carpet and they soon were back to normal. "You know, it may not be a good idea to help your opponent", Natsu said. "Do you want the carpet to disappear?", I asked. "N-No!", Natsu said. "Then don't complain", I said. I then thought about how taking jobs with Wendy would be very difficult now since she had motion sickness. I decided to try something that I had never tried before.

I noticed that Wendy was still wearing the bracelet I got her for her birthday. "Hey Wendy, I'm happy to see that you are wearing the bracelet", I said. "I wore it everyday when you were gone. And I've just never been able to take it off. It means a lot to me", Wendy said. "Well I have an idea. Can I see it?", I asked. Wendy took it off and handed it to me. I then put some of my Aether inside of the gem. The color never changed and it looked normal. I gave it back to Wendy and she put it back on. "Okay, Wendy, I'm going to make the carpet disappear", I said. "W-What?! But then I will feel sick again", Wendy said looking a little worried. "Just trust me okay", I said. Wendy nodded and the carpet went back to the ground and faded away.

"W-Wait.... I feel fine", Wendy said in shock. "I added some Aether to your bracelet. Now you will no longer get motion sick as long as you have that on", I said. "Thank you so much Draco. I did not know if I was going to be able to keep going. Motion sickness feels horrible", Wendy said. "No problem. I may make some for Natsu and Gajeel after the S-Rank trials. Anyways, we are getting close to Tenrou Island. Let's get ready", I said.
