"What do you mean we're going to go hiking on a mountain trail?" Minhee was confused by Jisung's statement. This was mostly because she wasn't the hiking type of girl. "Hiking?" She repeated for the second time.
"I'm telling you it'll be worth it." Jisung sounded excited from the other line. Minhee couldn't help but feel the same. His happiness was hers as well.
"Alright, I'll go hiking with you." She was in utter defeat. As she set her phone down she has opened the doors to her huge walk in closet. "Now what clothes do I wear for a hiking trip."
In full honesty the girl never was the adventurous type, and this was the first time she tried something wayyy out of her comfort zone.

Jisung had planned this hiking trip for a while and he thought this would be a great way for them to exercise and bond. He had arrived at her house at the time he said and waited for Minhee's presence.
Yet, he was absolutely shocked to see the girl with a full sports outfit and a huge backpack being carried by a few house helpers.
"What is that?" Jisung pointed at the backpack being placed in the trunk of the vehicle.
"Necessities." Minhee smiled. "Bug repellent, extra shoes, face mist."
"Minhee, we're going on a hike, not a camping trip. We'll come back before night time hits." Jisung couldn't help but squish her cheeks. He found her behavior too cute.
"Well I can't be underprepared." She felt slightly embarrassed by how she wasn't truly understanding of what a hiking trip was like. Nor did she ever go on a physical trip like this with her father.
"Come on let's go. It's going to be a bit of a long drive." Jisung opened the passenger side door feeling eager about his little surprise.

"Jisung, I don't think I can keep going." Minhee panted as she took a seat on a bench.
"Are you sure? Do you feel ok?" Jisung bent down towards the very tired looking Minhee. "If you can't keep going we can stop for today-" He suddenly felt maybe it wasn't a good idea for a hike.
"No, the Kang Minhee you know wouldn't give up this easily." She immediately got up. "Plus we have to enjoy this trip. It hasn't been that long since we did something like this." Her eyes were filled with a new passion.
"Alright then let's go." The pair not only enjoyed the scenery, but they reminisced their past with fun talk.
"Remember that one time for we did this bet before Halloween. In the end us girls won, and we dressed as royalty. We told you guys to be peasants." Minhee laughed remembering such an iconic event.
"How could I forget." Jisung lips formed a straight line as that event was unforgettable indeed.
By the near evening, the two had reached the top of the hiking trail. Minhee felt proud that she had reached the top.
"Minhee look. It's what I wanted to show you." Jisung pointed off to the distance where you could see a sunset painted sky filled with colors of pink, yellow, red, orange, and purple.
Even with the small beads of sweat falling down the sides of Minhee's cheek, she looked in awe at the natural beauty of the sunset. It looked as though something you would find in a magical land. Her eyes were immense.
"Minhee." Jisung called out to her name.
She turned around to see Jisung on one knee, holding a ring box. Inside was a beautifully cut diamond ring.

"Wha-" Minhee was at a total loss of words as she placed a hand on her gaping mouth.
"Will you marry me?" Jisung replied and some of the people in the surroundings started to whisper eagerly.
Minhee had paused for a few seconds just for the fun of it.
"Of course I will." She smiled as Jisung placed the ring on her ring finger. The spectators from the side had clapped in joy from the positive results and took pictures of their sweetness.
Jisung had stood up and pulled in Minhee for a tight hug.
"Uh- are you sure you don't mind. I'm swea-" However she stopped herself and decided to enjoy the warm...maybe a bit too warm of an embrace.
