Viktor was busy cleaning his own rifle, Humming a song to himself as he was deep in thought, He stopped from cleaning and frowned, Rubbing his neck gently as he looked around his room before his eyes rested at the portrait of Strix and Him

He was worried sick, Knowing well that his boyfriend out there was having a war and he wasn't there to protect him, It was his job to do that but Strix was chosen and he couldn't help but worry for his lover's health

It has been 2 days since he left with a soft and passionate kiss on his lips before Strix turned away with a gentle wave

Viktor groaned, Already had enough at moping around, He stood up, Walking towards his closet and began to get his usual uniform, Wearing them before he slung his assault rifle on his back and got out of the room that he shared with Strix, He pulled out the room key and locked the room door

He bit his lower lip as he slid the key into his pockets and began to walk away, His hair gently waving as he walked

" Viktor! " Skye had called out behind him, Making the soldier stop in his tracks before turning around to face the assassin with a raised brow

" What do you want? " Viktor asked, His russian accent thick and deep, Before his eyes widened at the fact that Skye is here, Skye was chosen to fight alongside with Strix " Wait, Skye?!, That m-means, Strix is here!, Where.. Where is he?! " He demanded

Skye held out a hand to pause Viktor from his sudden outburst to find his lover, She panted, Wiping a bead of sweat from his forehead

" T-that.. Was what I am going to tell you.. " Skye replied in exhaustion, A Bandage is clearly wrapped around her stomach and on her leg

" Skye.. Tell me. " Viktor demanded, His mind clouded with thoughts on what could happen to Strix

" Calm down, Vik.. , Alright alright.. I managed to save him , Hence why I have bandages on me, Damn.. Androxus and his hearing, But yeah.. Strix is heavily wounded, He is currently inside the infirmary to heal up his wounds, Don't worry.. Khan was there to guard the door while Pip is inside to check him.. " Skye explained

Viktor's world crumbled down at the news and he could feel his heart shattering at the thought of his lover wounded, He had failed his promise to protect him

With that, He immediately dashed towards the infirmary, Thanking Skye in the process who only nodded and turned invisible

Viktor's frame shook as he was now standing in front of the infirmary door, Khan was leaning against the wall, His armor broken and having scratches from the fight

Khan nodded grimly as a greeting to Viktor, Khan is tired from the fight and the events had caused, He, Lost a good friend in the battle, Lian, He desperately tried to protect the princess but failed his duty and watched her body fall down lifelessly

Viktor didn't thought for a second and immediately barged in, Khan let him, Knowing well that the soldier needed to see his lover

Pip was startled and let out a manly shriek before clearing his throat

" H-how is, Strix? " Viktor cautiously asked, His body trembling and his breathing ragged due to him running around

" He is fine, I managed to fix up all of his wounds, Thanks to my chemistry skills and to Mal'Damba, He only took bullet shots, Nothing major, Only minor, He lost a lot of blood that's why he passed out but his internal and important organs are still alive and pumping. " Pip replied, His voice strained and exhausted, His eyes were red and puffy from the crying

Viktor looked over at Pip and his face soften, His head tilted gently

" What.. What happened? Why were you crying? " He asked, Walking closer to held Strix's hand, Intertwining their fingers together as he leaned in, Giving the Sniper's forehead a soft kiss

" It's just.. Lian.. " Pip started, Sniffing as his waterworks began to start up again

" She.. She died.., I c-couldn't do anything to save her.. Khan was down and his shield almost broken, I was tackled by Maeve.. Strix was wounded and Skye was fighting Androxus, Skye had saved us but not Lian.. She was too late, Khan had cried as well in the field but Skye managed to cover them using her bomb. " He explained, Playing with his fingers

Viktor frowned, Closing his eyes and sending prayers towards the death of Lian

" I.. I apologize.. " Viktor mumbled, Causing Pip to wipe his tears away and smile up at Viktor

" It's fine.. We'll get over it soon, Hopefully.. " Pip whispered

Eventually, Viktor nodded and looked over at Strix who was now stirring himself awake

Pip smiled and gently hopped off

" I'll give you guys some.. Privacy. " He chuckled and winked at Viktor as he closed the door behind him

" Strix! Baby! You're okay! " Viktor exclaimed, His smile causing Strix to blush and let out a soft snort

" I'm always.. Okay, D-Damn.. I knew I should've used my stealth.. " He groaned

" Don't worry about it baby, You're fine, That's all that it matters, I still need to thank Skye again for saving you, I would be devastated if you're gone.. " Viktor mumbled sadly

Strix let out a sad sigh, Obviously mourning for Lian as well but shook that thought away for now, He smiled and sat up gently, Leaning in and pressing his lips against Viktor's who eagerly kissed back, Wrapping his arms around the Sniper's neck, Pulling Strix closer to him and made the kiss deep

Eventually, The two of them have to pull away to catch their breathe

" I'm so glad that you're alive.. " Viktor trailed off as he began to lay down beside the Sniper on the bed, Pulling Strix closer to his body and let his head rest against his chest

" I will be, For you.. " Strix replied and chuckled as Viktor played with his soft curls before feeling Viktor's lips pressed against his hair

" Now, We need more training. " Viktor had said, Causing Strix to groan out in annoyance

" Noooooo, I don't want to. " Strix protested

" Baby, We have to, Or no cuddles at night. " Viktor teased and chuckled

Strix only laughed softly " Fine.. " He admitted defeatedly

Viktor was happy about this and gently pressed his lips against Strix, Sharing another passionate kiss
