Chapter 2 - Varsity Life

Tristan's POV

Time: Friday 1:00 pm

Done from training, we will take a rest muna here sa Benilde Court since our coach left already.

"Capt! Tindi ng training natin, di ko kinaya ang sakit ng whole body ko." Andrew, the always mareklamong teammate after training like that.

"This is our life, we're student-athletes and part tayo ng varsity team. Paguran talaga trainings natin to achieve our main goal for this coming season."

"Seryoso talaga si capt! Don't worry di namin sasayangin yung every pagod sa training, its not for us lang but its for our school." Adrian said in his normal tone with pangaasar.

"I'm serious naman pagdating sa trainings but after naman it's still me pa rin. Hahaha!" I jokingly said to them.

Here are my teammates: Kris, Joseph, Andrew, and Adrian, they are the only teammates na kaclose ko sa team since almost in our line-up ay rookies or sophomores pa lang.

While going out from the Benilde court may kumalabit sakin at mukhang mag aaya nanaman to si Kris.

"Bro! May lakad ka after class mo mamaya? Taft tayo oh" As I said its Kris, di pa nagsawa mag make out ng girls sa Taft, he's always like that kabisado ko na yan.

"I need to go home after my class, I promise to my family na ilabas ko sila since its weekend. Sorry bro, I'm not interested with you know. Hahahaha"
I answered him jokingly but I'm serious that family first for now.

"Naks bro, you're different na talaga ah? Moving on? Joke! Since you're the team captain, di na rin kami sasama kay Kris pag kami ininvite. Hahaha" My friends said except Kris.

"Mga loko, 2:30 na sige I will go to our class na bye!"

I don't know why kaclose ko to mga to but thankful for them, because they help me to move-on to my ex and to focus on my team since I am the team captain for this coming season of Collegiate Tournament.

As I walked towards to the Main Building. I checked my phone and my mom texted me.

*1 new message from mama*

"Hello Tristan! Sure ka ba may lakad tayo later? Kulit ng mga kapatid mo di mapakali excited ata."

My mama is so cute, I missed her and dad and also my siblings, can't wait to go home later. I smiled while I replying to her.

"Yes naman ma! Hahaha after my class I will go home na and we will go somewhere because I already miss you and dad and also my makukulit na kapatid! See you later Ma! ❤️"

*message sent to mama*

I'm okay that I'm single, because lovelife is not my priority for now family muna, they are more important to me. I need to make bawi sa kanila.

Time: 4:30 pm

"Okay class! Since maaga tayo natapos today, I would like to request to support our Varsity Team this coming Collegiate Tournament in September. Here they are! Tristan, Adrian, and Andrew stand up and come here infront."

And we introduced ourselves to our class as requested by our professor.
Some of my classmates coming to us to take pictures with them.

"Hello po! I will support you all po and maasahan niyo kami sa games niyo."

"Kami rin! Manunuod kami games niyo 😊"

"Thank you for all the support, we will expect that!" I said loudly in the class with all smiles in my face.

Finally class dismissed and I will go home to bond with my family at last! Hello weekend.
