(A/N: You people thought I'd give them a happy ending? Just like that?! 😂😂😂)

Weeks passed by and Harry noticed little changes. Severus seemed happier. Or maybe he was just grumpier? Harry didn't know what was going on, but he felt really sick.

This morning Harry was trying to cook breakfast burritos. The feeling overwhelmed him again and had him leaning form the trash can.

Could he? No.
Shit!

"Sev." He called out, his voice the epitome of miserable. Snape was there in an instant, surpised to find Harry clinging to a trash can. Newly filling with bile. He frowned. "I think I ate something weird..." He muttered.

Snape turned off the stove and took his mate in his arms, carrying the boy over to the couch. Snape ran a diagnostic spell. "Hmm. I'm not seeing food poisoning. Actually, I'm not seeing much of anything. You're healing great and taking care of yourself." He smiled proudly at his little mate. Harry blushed and squirmed a little.

Severus sighed and put his wand away. "You probably have a wizards flu. It's not uncommon this time of year and doesn't really like to show up on scans until it's blatantly obvious."
"Wizards flu?" Harry asked. Sev nodded.
"Yeah. Upset stomache and periodic vomiting. You might feel heavier and you will definitely not be leaving the room, or the bed if I can help it. At some point you're magic will flux and your bile with sparkle like you just threw up glitter. That's when Wizards Flu likes to show up on scans." The dark man grimaced.

Harry chuckled and nuzzled into his mate before stopping. "Am I contageous?" He asked. Worried. Severus chuckled.
"Highly, but being a vampire has its perks." He kissed his mate on the head. Harry giggled and continued to nuzzle Snape until he was comfy.
"It sounds like a flu created by the Weasley twins." He joked. Harry chuckled at Severus's heavy sigh.

"Oh I have no doubt that they have a few pranks inspired by the illness. I believe there Puking Pastels are quite popular?" He asked. Harry nodded.
"Yeah. But I don't think any of them make you vomit glitter. I'll have to run the idea by them next time I see them." Snape chuckled.
"Perhaps, when you get better love." He leaned down and kissed Harry's forehead. Harry hummed in delight before grimacing. Sev quickly summoned a bucket, Harry waved him off.
"Oh, no. Thank you. My head just hurts a little." He explained. Severus nodded and set the bucket down beside the couch before summoning his lesson plans and a book for Harry.

They sat in silence for several hours before Harry decided he was hungry and REALLY wanted some trecal tarts encased in hardening chocolate.

Yes. It was as delicious as it sounds.

Snape cared for Harry when he could, but the school year started up not long after so for the most part, Harry spent his misery in Snape's personal study.

It was the strangest thing, wizards flu.

Some times, usually when he first woke up and was still trying to deal with the world in the morning, he'd feel sick. He wouldn't always vomit though. Scans showed he was losing weight even though he was eating more and obviously gaining weight. He also kept getting horrible headaches.

Severus assured him that these were all normal symptoms of wizards flu, so Harry let it be.

Harry goaned loudly as he lay in a weird, but comfortable, position on the bed. "Seeeeev." He whined to the potions master, who was getting ready for bed.
Severus chuckled. "What is it?" He asked playing along. He knew what Harry was gonna asked.

"How much longer?"
"Just few moments for me to get pants on and then I will be right there." He smirked and he shuffled about.

Harry smiled a little at the show, well he called in a show, but frowned when he realized his position was pressing on his nipples in a most uncomfortable way.
In other words, at all. "That's not what I mean, smartass."
He threw a pillow at the dark man who caught it easily.

Now dressed, Snape walked over to the bed with the pillow and crawled under the covers, tucking his mate in right beaide him. He held Harry close to his chest. "I know. The wizarding flu can last anywhere from 2-3 weeks, so just bare with it. Has your magic fluxed yet?" He asked. Harry shook his head and Snape hummed in response, stroking Harry hair gently. "Hmm. It's been almost 2 weeks, so now it's just a matter of waiting. I promise this will pass." He reasured his mate gently.

Harry grumbled about something before wrapping clingy arms around the posion professor's waist.

They were sitting quietly in eachother arms one Sunday evening when and owl hooted at them. It held a note and a package.

Harry, ran over to it to see who the letter was for.
Snape chuckled at his mate. "Well?"
Harry smiled. "It's from Hermione for me." He said before opening the letter. Harry began read aloud. "Dear Harry. I'm sorry you don't feel well. Though I have no doubt that Professor Snape is keeping you plenty of company, I thought these might help fill the void while he is teaching. What you've told me about Wizards Flu made me make a quick trip to the library and then to Borgans and Burks. You're right, I think the twins could use the synpotomes for a lot of pranks. I'm curious though. Could you send me a list of your symptoms individually. Just any changes you've noticed. I would like to have a complete list to compare with. Hoping to you get well soon. From what I've read, you should be puking glitter any day now. Write soon. -Hermione." Harry read, trying to mimic her voice.

Snape chuckled a bit. "The Gryffindor is more Ravenclaw than I thought. Curiousity beyond reason." He commented. Harry smiled proudly.

Pride was quickly overturned by a turning stomach and he bolted for the toilet.

When the noises stopped, Snape, who'd been getting up and moving toward Harry, yelled. "Is it glittery?"

His response was another round of vomiting and a very misrible, "No."

During class, Harry took a moment to evaluate all of his misery so he could write it down for Hermione.
He then sent it off and started to read his new books.
