( she doesn't need expensive gifts, sure all of those things are nice but, all she really needs is you.
she needs your listening ear when she's ready to vent. she needs your shoulder to cry on when life gets hard on her.

she needs to be able to feel safe around you, and know that you have her best interest when it comes to her heart. and if it's taking her a while to let you in, she isn't trying to punish you.
she just doesn't want to repeat the same mistake, of getting to close to someone, for them to disappear all over again. )
