Nymere Detention Center Season 1

Episode 1: A New Home

This prison is devised for young criminals from the ages 14-19, when they reach the age 20 and still have a sentenced to carry out they will be shipped of to an adult prison. 

The nigh is cold yet a fire burns in his heart. Nate Kleave sits at the back of the dark and dim prison van. The only light that seemed to reveal was through the small square windows on the doors of the van. He was alone, alone to his thoughts that have approached him to the gates of the prison. The van stops and so dose Nate thoughts. He awaits for something to happen, yet noting. There was no noise coming from outside yet he knew he has entered the prison. Suddenly the doors flew open and an officer stands waiting. Nate stands up and leaves the van. The officer leads him into the walls of the prison. The place seemed big. The officer places Nate in a small room. Then he comes in with a plastic basket and says "get your kit off". Obviously this was a strip search Nate thought. Nate is then walked into another room we're the deputy Governor is awaiting, Simon Spiers. Nate sits patiently while Simon faffs about on a computer. He asks for Nate's date of birth, next of kin and then gives him a card with the unit he will be staying in. Simon looks a Nate and calmly says "You will be places in a separate cell for tonight and then transferred to your unit in the morning. Nate is then taken to a cell. 

Nate awakens to an officer called Sera Tyra. She calls me in a sweet voice and tells me it is time to go to his unit. She takes Nate and they walk through the hall and into the court yard were all the prisoners look over towards Nate's direction. Even though Nate felt intimidated he keeps a brave face. They enter the building. She guides me into my unit. The unit was big, a television, couches, a table with chairs and a small kitchen. On either side of the unit we're four cells. Sera shows him the cell Nate will be living in. She smiles at him and says "if you have any problems then press that red button, it's the emergency button". Nate smiles back and says "okay, will I have time to have a shower?". Sera tells him that the showers, and any other facilities like the library and gym can be used any time. The canteen, classes that are run, work and prison inmate counts will be at specific times. She tells him work will be allocated to him and he can ware his own cloths as long as their within the prisons policy as there is no uniform in this prison. Nate smiles and tells her thank you. She leaves him and Nate goes into his cell. The cell seems a fair size, a small television, a bed, a little table, a sink and a toilet. In the cell is awaiting  a basket with all of Nate's belongings from home such as cloths, toothbrush and other thing to make him feel at home. Suddenly he hears someone come into the unit. Nate walks out of the cell to see a kind face walk up to him. He shakes his hand. The guy introduces himself and the two other guys behind him. The guy says "I'm Alex, this is Carter and Gray". Alex Murry, Carter Tate and Gray Ferrle are inmates at the prison. Gray accidentally drop his playing cards on the floor so Nate kindly help him pick them up. Alex smiles and can't stop looking Nate. Carter places his book and glasses on the table and sits. Gray puts the cards in the box and they all smile. 

Up in the governor's office is James Sutland the new Governor. The office was big with a table and chairs, a desk and a separate bath room. With him is Simon. James is looking at the view of the core yard through his window while Simon reads Nate's file. "were in for the times of our lives with this one" Simon says in sure confidence. James sits down on his nice brown leather chair and asks "why?". Simon tells James Nate is in for life with a violent murder. Simon also tells James that Nate stabbed his brother in the head several times. James picks up his phone and tells Simon he will call the prison physiologist Rose Thorne. 

Nate is sitting in his cell looking at a photo from when he was only a baby in his mother's arms. Next to her stood his father and his older brother. Nate smiles. Nate grabs his toothpaste just as Alex walks in. He puts the toothpaste back on the table. Alex smile and offers to take Nate on a tour. Nate smiles and nicely says "yeah sure".
