☆ Chapter 9.5 - Warm Wishes ☆

André had just woken up from his nap. It felt like a lot of time had passed, but he had no idea how much.
He rolled over at the clock in the room. He had napped for one hour and half.

"Jeez...was I really that tired...?"

He slowly got up from the bed. As he approached the door, he heard some voices from the other side.
Slowly, he opened the door a little to peek.

"^I think it can happen if you and I work together.^"
-^...hmm...I suppose so.^-

Looks like Eveline is awake.

♤We have a lot of cruisers on our side now. He's definitely not winning a space battle. All that remains is bringing the fight to him.♤
"^Then comes Dissle himself...^"
-^We know where he is. But I'm not sure if even us three together can take him down.^-
♤Don't worry. You won't be alone in this fight. We're all knocking him out together.♤
"^...heh. You're really good at reassuring others.^"
♤Comes from experience.♤

André then fully opened the door and walked towards them.
The trio was talking on the big table, and it seems like they were the only ones there.

"^You're awake.^"
-^Oh, hello.^-
"Hiya."

He sat down as well and Madeline walked up to him.

♤Feeling better?♤
"Yeah...but I think I overslept."
♤Oh no, you didn't at all. You can nap as much as you want.♤
"...pardon?"

"^Elijah's stolen cruiser is overwhelmed by all the allies we have. So now, we are going to take the fight to him. Which means your team can rest.^"
"Uh...what do you mean?"
♤Me, Eveline and Ivory can take on Elijah no problem. Take this chance and rest up. Bond more with your teammates.♤
"But don't you need me to free him?"
-^We will simply bring him to you once we knock him out.^-
"...is that wise?"

Madeline crouched down and placed her hands on his shoulders.
♤You and your team did a lot of important missions back to back, André. You're clearly suffering from fatigue. Your team may be strong, but you're not all-powerful. Not taking a long break isn't going to be healthy for you.♤
"^It's wiser to lay down and rest rather than exhaust yourself even more.^"
-^Don't worry. We will do our best.^-
"...well...if you say so."

Madeline then gave him a loving hug.
♤You did a lot over the past few days. I'm proud of you. And I'm sure both of your parents would be too.♤

He slowly smiled and hugged back.
♤I already told everyone about it once we left the planet. Take your time to rest. You need it.♤
"...alright then. I wish you three the best."
"^I'm sure we won't dissapoint.^"
-^Make sure not to exhaust yourselves here either. You'll need energy for the other battles.^-

The trio walked out of the ship. When André looked outside, he noticed they were back at Malestar.
He decided to take a shower to feel refreshed. After he was done, he changed into some more casual clothes and went to the main room. From the ship's computer, he checked things like the News, and saw articles on their victories. He still had to wrap around his head that he and his team did that. He just smiled.

The sound of one of the door opening could be heard. He turned around and saw Fegike & Sharida leaving one of the dorms.

"Oh hello."

The three sat down at the big table.

"I'm assuming you got the memo?"
|Ye. Kinda sucks cause I wanted to actually fight...but I get it.|

"You have no idea." He chuckled.
