" Daddy can we go to the park today?" Amaya asked with her puppy dog face. "Yeah daddy you said you was gon teach me how to ride my bike." Kendrick said jumping around. " get dressed and we'll go." I said watching them take off up the stairs to their rooms. I got up to make the food for the picnic today. It's like a family picnic my parents and Jaz lil family coming too. After I was done with the food and stuff I packed the car and waited in the living room. "mom, dad, Kennedi, Amaya, Kendrick, Jaz, Ciara, and Aaliyah come on before it's too dark. They all came downstairs "okay so now that everyone is here we can go y'all take the Tahoe and me and Kendrick will meet y'all there I have to go buy Kendrick bike. We all went our separate ways." "Kendrick pick the truck." I told him waiting for him to point At a truck. He finally pointed at the F-150, I picked him up and put him in the passenger seat. I got in my seat and went to Target. "Aye lil man you said the bike you wanted was right here right." I asked unsure. "Yes daddy the batman one" he said excited to get his bike. I paid and joined the others at the park. Mom and dad was sitting together, kennedi and Cici were pushing Amaya and Aaliyah on the swing set, jazz was playing basketball.

Kennedi pov

Chris pulled up and Kendrick ran to the playground I walked to Chris as she was putting together Kendrick's bike." umm baby we need to talk" I said scared not knowing what I was going to do. "What about baby" Chris said giving me all of her attention. "Well I got a call from the manager of the Phoenix Mercury saying they saw me playing against all them niggas" I said before Chris cut me off. "You was playing with a bunch of niggas and I'm just finding this out, where was I." Chris said getting pissed.

Flashback

Kennedi pov

" yeah ok Chris wateva" I said walking out the house to my car. Lately Chris and I have been fighting over petty shit. Drives to the basketball court and see a bunch of niggas playing so I got out and joined their game it was everybody for themselves. I started out with zero and the rest of them had at least 30 point. They took my gender for granted and I ended up winning by 50 points. When everyone left it was only me there and this guy record me so I just left and went back home.

Flashback over still kennedi pov

"Oh" Chris said speechless." Well baby if you want to play pro ball I support you all the way. And if you think moving is what's keeping you back I have a house in a few states already and Phoenix is one of them." Chris said supporting the choice I make. " just say the word and we'll move." I started thinking about it" but baby where will jazz and Cici go?" I asked Chris not wanting my decision make them homeless. " they just gon come with us" Chris said waiting on my decision
