Chapter 1 - The Job

Lucy watched the scenery pass as she sighed. No motion sick dragon slayer. No stripping ice mage. And no red haired Knight eating cake.

She was alone.

Lucy scanned the job again

She sighed again closing her eyes she wouldn't be there for at least another 4 hours

~Flashback~
Lucy sighed resting her head on the bar. The rest of Team Natsu, had gone separate ways for different jobs they had been requested to do, leaving Lucy alone and bored.

Silently, The celestial mage stood up and made her way to the request board, scanning quickly and taking a request "Master I'm going on this job" she told the old man, who had been sitting on the bar drinking with Cana. He smiled at her nodding "Alright be safe Lucy"

The blonde waved walking out the guild doors

~Flashback End~

"We have arrived at Dawn City any passengers for Dawn City please leave the train" the conductor said causing Lucy to wake up suddenly.

"Alright let's get this job done" she sighed getting of the train and towards the clients house

~Time Skip: in the forest~

"Alright the Vulcans' den should be around here" the celestial mage mumbled to herself before 6 large monkey like beast jumped out "Woman! Woman! Woman!" They chanted as Lucy took out two gold keyes "open gate of the maiden and gate of the lion! Virgo Leo!"

The two spirits appeared before her "no time to talk guys! Virgo you take the two on the right Loke take the two on the left and I'll take the two in the middle!" Lucy said. The spirits nodded getting into fighting stances and taking off attacking

Lucy took her whip grabbing the wrist of a Vulcan swinging it around fast and flinging it into a tree before running up and landing a hard kick on its chest breaking the ribs and puncturing the heart killing it

"LUCY WATCH OUT!"!lucy heard a shout from like as she turned around but it was to late the second Vulcan clawed at her eye before crying in pain as loke strikes him down as Lucys world went black

Lucy groaned opening her eyes although one was covered by a bandage that wrapped around her head. A hand tightened around the blondes own causing her to look over at the lion spirit "loke? What happened?" She questioned before being squeezed to death in the orange haired males hug
