I walked quietly to the justice building, I may be horrible at controlling my emotions but I can good as well hide them. I won't let any of these people see them.

I was taken to a room where a Peacekeeper walked up to me "You’ve got Three minutes for anyone to say goodbye" he said to me

I just responded "Fine then". As the peacekeeper shut the door behind me I went over to the couch. Maybe Lucy would come and say goodbye and apologize for not trying to find me in the crowds. But as the clock turned, no one turned up.

I angrily tapped the arm of the couch as the Peacekeeper walked in "Time’s up” He said and the anger just burst out off me

"I didn't need it anyway!" I snapped at him. I pushed passed him and walked into the hall where Luke Adams was waiting.

I crossed my arms and stood next to him as Effie Tricket walked up to us "Train’s ready to leave" She said in a cheery voice and I just snapped again

"Let’s go then!"

She led us to where the train was waiting to take us to the Capitol. ‘I hate the place’ I muttered in my head, but I never said a word out loud, I just remained silent. As we walked onto the train I looked around and jumped as the train started to move. I’d never been on a train before so it was new to me.

As Effie led us to the sitting carriage I began to get a firm step of the train and I began to calm down as well. I sat down in the seat and Luke sat next to me. Effie looked at us "I'm going to get your mentor, he's probably drunk" she huffed and left.

I turned to Luke "Who the hell are you?" I snapped at him

"I told you, Luke Adams" he replied calmly

"I’ve never heard that name before" I said staring at him scanning his Seam eyes. "I've kept a low profile" he muttered, looking down. There was something in his voice I recognized but I didn’t know this boy.

"You must have been in one of my classes" I said challenging him a bit.

"Home schooled I was" he said

"Oh" ‘Home school I was’ I mimicked in my head, rolling my eyes. I began to tap my finger on the table. It was kind of like a beat on how angry I was; it was how I controlled it.

"Nervous?" he asked me

"Somewhat" I muttered. Like he should know I’d be killing him in a couple of days. "Relax” he said

“I'm trying!" I growled slightly at him

"Hey don't growl at me, it's not my fault you were picked" he said, a little shocked

"I have anger problems so shut it!" I snapped at him

"Well try and control them when we get to the Capitol" he said

“Sometimes I can, sometimes I can't so live with it" I snapped once more

"Trust me, I can" he muttered and I rolled my eyes. He smirked and looked at the food "Shall we help ourselves?"

"I guess" I muttered. Yes I was staving but I didn't really want to eat this food. He sat up and started on the cakes as I stared at the food, not knowing what to eat

"Tuck in and enjoy yourself at the Capitol's expense before we have to hunt for our food. If we're not dead first" Luke said to me

"I guess" I said biting into a roll. I wasn't really in the mood for talking but I guess I would have to. I looked at Luke as he took a bowl of soup and we both eat in till we were full. Wow, I hadn’t eaten that much in my life. I stared out the window trying to stay out with any conversion when Effie walked into the room
