"Heave! Ho! Heave! Ho!" Called out vengelfe's father, the king. "Father what are you doing?"questioned Vengelfe. "We are preparing for winter, our food source is getting scarce. " "but why?" "No time to talk darling, just like your mother,you never stop to think for a second." Disappointed, Vengelfe walked away,head hung low. "oh dear...." "CLEAR THE WAY! CLEAR THE WAY! STORMS AWAIT!" But little vengelfe could not hear her father. she was already too late. *gasp!* "what was that?" Hisssssssss.... "go away!!" she called as the voice came closer. Hissssssssssss..... "LEAVE ME BE!" She screamed. Just as her father heard her he saw it before his very eyes: Vengelfe got snatched by a hungry cobra. "My baby!" But he was too late. The snake slithered away with Vengelfe in his mouth. Where were they going? The king whistled in search of this bird. She flew down and he jumped on. "I'm coming my girl! I'm not losing you too!"
