I stood in front of James not knowing what to do. The last time I was in my bikini in his view, it was unexpected. Now, I chose to be in my bikini in front of me. What if he doesn't like my body? I've never been one to be super confident with my body. My thighs were always too big for my taste, but I never considered myself fat, not skinny either though. No! Stop thinking this! If he doesn't like my body, then he doesn't deserve me. My thinking was interrupted by a loud splash. I step closer towards the water, walking along the wooden dock and a hand grabs my ankle, pulling me into the water.

I could hear him laughing loudly. "You should have seen your face." He just continued to laugh.

"That wasn't funny." I prep my arms and splash him. "But that was." Look who's laughing now? When I feel water land on me, I know it's on. I decide to swim away, but then I felt a tug on my ankle once again. I'm pulled underwater and back towards James. He pulls me close to his chest.

"You're so cute when you're trying to run away from me. Don't you know, that you can't run from me."

"You wanna bet?" I tug my arms away, but I was too slow. His fingers wrapped around my wrists.

"You wanna bet," he taunted.

"Fine, you caught me. Now, can you let me go?"

"There are certain conditions you have to fulfill first."

"And what are those conditions?"

"You have to kiss me first."

"And what if I don't agree to these conditions?"

"Then I guess you're stuck here."

Our lips kept inching closer, but I couldn't give in. Once we were almost kissing, I pulled away and swam as fast as I could. I could hear him splashing after me, but I knew to keep swimming.

We swam (and kissed) for what felt like hours. The sun began to set, so we decided it would be best to head back to camp. I slipped my shoes back on, and we both walked back dripping. It probably would have been a good idea to bring a towel to the lake, but it was too late for that.

Once we arrived at camp, I overheard hollering coming from the other side. Between the trees I could see glimpses of people. The noise kept multiplying. Next thing I knew, there was at least a hundred people in our camping spot and I was standing there in my bikini. I could all of the whistles and inappropriate remarks. I ran. I ran far into the woods. I couldn't handle all of this unwanted attention and those comments. I had never been so embarassed before. I heard footsteps approaching. I hid behind a tree, hoping whoever it whatever it is, didn't see me and will go away.

"Neveah! Neveah!" Somebody was screaming my name. They were searching for me. I recognized the voice. It's James' voice. I poked my head out from the side to ensure that it was James and only James. "There you are." He rushed towards me. He placed his hands on my shoulder in a comforting way. I couldn't look at him though. "Look at me." I continued to look down. How do I face him? "Please." I looked up at him. He invited these people here and didn't bother to tell me. They were his friends, I recognized them. "I'm so sorry. I told my buddy, Justin, that I was camping with you this weekend and he took it upon himself to invite half of our school. There's more people coming, just to warn you."

I appreciated his honesty and it's refreshing that he didn't inivite these people, but he told his friens. What else has he told his friends?

"It was a stupid mistake and I promise I will never do anything like this again," James apologized. He pulled his shirt over his head and offered it to me. "Here, so you don't feel uncomfortable and so no other guy can check out what's mine." I took it from his hand, sliding it over my head. It smelt like him, which sounds very creepy, but it's not.

"I forgive you, but I don't think I can go out there. I can't face them and hear those comments again."

"What comments?" He sounded enraged.

"It's not a big deal. I'm just gonna stay out here until they all leave."

"No! What comments?"

"The.... um... boys were saying things along the line of.... um.... come over here sweet thing, I want a piece of that and take off your clothes. And I could hear the girls whispering things calling me a slut, and I just don't want to go back out there."

"I'm gonna go kick their..."

"No you won't." I step in front of him, placing my hand firmly in the middle of his chest.

"They can't just get away with saying things like that!"

"I know, but violence won't solve anything. You need to cool down first before going anywhere."

He began to breathe slowly, calming himself down. "I'm not going to do anything. I'm just going to talk to them." He walked around me and I tried to catch his arm, but I was too slow. He proceeded to walk rapidly towards the crowd. I knew what was about to go down and it would not be a pretty sight. I needed to follow him because whatever happens, I would be there.

Once we arrived at the crowd, all eyes were on us. I was a few feet behind him, but somehow everyone was staring at the both of us. The whistles and hollers began and only grew louder.

"Take off your shirt!"

"Strip!"

I couldn't tell who was saying what anymore. All I could hear was noise. Everything slowly began to spin, but then started to pick up the pace.
