Quinn's POV
"Dad, I'm going out to the shops I'll be back soon!" I say.
"Okay bye." My Dad says.
I step outside into the cold air and walk to the shops. On the way, I see someone getting mugged in an alley so I run over, getting my pepper spray out of my bag and spray it in the attackers eyes. He cries out then runs in the opposite direction, dropping the guys wallet he was holding. I pick it up and walk over to the beaten man lying on the floor, passing it back to him.
"Hey, I'm Quinn he's gone now don't worry. Do you need me to call an ambulance?" I ask.
"I'm Andy, I'll be okay honestly and sorry you had to see that." The guy says.
"Don't be sorry! Do you think you can stand up? I'll help you." I say.
I hold out my hand and he takes hold of it and I help him up. He cries out in pain but he is able to stand.
"Are you okay to walk? I can take you back to my house and give you some ice or something." I say.
"I don't want to be a burden, it's okay." Andy says.
"Honestly, it's fine!" I say, putting his arm over my shoulder and we go to my house.
I bang on the door and my Dad answers almost immediately, seeing Andy and ushering him inside.
"Here, take a seat here!" My Dad says.
I help him sit down and my Dad starts ordering me around as I help him.

About an hour later, my Dad has finished and he goes out to the police to report it. I sit next to Andy to keep him company.
"How are you feeling?" I ask.
"A lot better, thanks, why did you help me?" Andy asks.
"You were in trouble, what else would I do?"
"Walk in the opposite direction like most people." He says.
"Well I'm not most people." I say.
"I can tell."
His fingers brush mine for a brief second and I get butterflies in my stomach.
"I was wondering, as a thank you, maybe after I'm healed I guess, could I take you for dinner somewhere?" Andy ask's.
"Sure and don't sound so nervous I don't bite, promise."
He laughs, his laugh is perfect, focus Quinn!
"But yeah, I'd like that." I say.

One month later
I stand on a corner waiting, until I see him coming around the corner, his blonde hair perfectly combed, smile wide as he comes towards me.
"Wow, you're gorgeous." Andy says.
"Oh stop it you flirt!" I say.
"It's good to see you again." He says.
"You too and this time hopefully we're not going to be going down any allies together."
"You'd be surprised."
I shake my head at him, laughing.
"Let's go shall we." I say.
