"Come on, Lila. If she hasn't answered the phone in the last three days then she isn't going to suddenly answer now" Josh sighed, placing his hand on my back and we both stopped walking. I sighed heavily and looked up into his dark brown eyes, though it was a little difficult to focus on him properly since I was standing so close to him.

It was now Friday and Josh and I were walking home from another day at school and just like every day since Tuesday, Amy was nowhere to be found. I went to school on Tuesday, after a lot of arguing with Piper and Leo and found that she wasn't in school. Wednesday was the same and so were the last two days, though yesterday and today, Piper and Leo didn't argue with me going into school. I had tried calling Amy's cell and texting her. I had tried calling her landline. I had tried telepathic communications, everything that I could think of both mortal and magical, but hadn't received any reply. Since today marked the beginning of the weekend, I was planning on going to her house later this evening to make sure that everything was okay. I'd never known Amy to miss school apart from one time in Sixth grade when she had two weeks off because of having tonsillitis and chicken pox at the same time. She'd been miserable, but since then she'd been at school every single day and I knew that because the times where I'd been ill or had to have time off because of Spirit making me ill, well she'd always dropped by the Manor and had dropped off any schoolwork that I had missed out on that day. As her best friend, I had also collected her school work and was planning on using that as an excuse to go to her house today as well.

"I know, I'm just hoping that she might answer if I keep annoying her enough" I sighed and Josh smiled down at me before pulling me against his chest and hugging me tightly.

"She should be okay, Lila. But if you need me at all this weekend, you have my cell number so call me or whatever okay?" Josh replied and I nodded against his body before we pulled away.

We walked to the Manor in silence, since Josh always walked me home and had done this week, despite the fact that Chris, Wyatt and Mel were with me as usual. Though the three of them always walked behind us apart from today. My theory was that they had stayed with me the last few days because of what had happened Monday night. I don't remember much after I had passed out but I had woken up a few hours later, to see that Mel was asleep. I went downstairs to see that Piper and Leo were awake and incredibly worried about what had happened. When they saw that I was awake and okay since I was no longer in pain, they then started bombarding me with tons of questions, which I couldn't provide answers for. They just said that they would keep an eye out for any information that may explain what had happened and why it had happened. Though I had had a lot of opposition from them about going to school the following two days afterwards because they were worried in case something like that happened in the middle of school. It was difficult reassuring them that it wouldn't happen because I couldn't explain it myself, I just knew that it wouldn't happen again. It seemed that the Halliwell siblings had carried their parents' worry with them since they made sure that Wyatt or Chris would stay with me at all times and during lunch, Mel would accompany me to the bathroom, though that was also in case Kristy became brave and tried to scare me again. This worry had made them walk home with Josh and I, despite the fact that the two of us walked slow in order to try and spend some time together. Though they hadn't bothered today, probably guessing that I would be okay, though I had a feeling that Wyatt and Chris were watching me carefully through our bonds.

"See you Monday, Lila" Josh said and I nodded at him, before he leaned down and quickly pressed his lips to my own before he turned and walked down the road. I watched him slowly make his way down Prescott Street as the rain hammered down on my head and shoulders, soaking me instantly. Since Josh had gone, it meant that I was no longer protected because over the last few days, it had been raining non-stop even though the forecast hadn't predicted rain at the beginning of the week. Josh had brought his umbrella with him and we had walked home underneath it. Just a few seconds outside and you were easily soaked through, much like I was right now.
