I stood in the far corner of the elevator behind everyone else, i glanced over at McGee then at Torres who I realized was looking at me, i mouthed
What
He just saluted, I rolled my eyes smiling, I looked down and remembered I wore my camo uniform to meet Director Vance
Ding
The elevator doors opened and everyone stepped off, I looked around and saw that we were in the garage. I saw atleast a dozen NCIS vans.
The silver haired dude reached in his pocket and got the keys, he pressed the unlock button, the 7th vans lights went on and off revealing itself as the car we would be driving in. I heard another car unlock and saw Torres walk toward a 2nd van.
I jogged towards him until i was side by side and Bishop right behind us
B: Im driving!
Bishop yelled as she sneakily grabbed the keys from Torres and ran toward the van
N: Ellie give them back! Im driving!
He then ran after her . I laughed then ran after both of them. I got in the car and saw a smiling Bishop start the car while Torres was in the middle with his arms crossed and pouting.

It took 30 min to the crime scene but when we arrived i saw a dozen cop cars. Bishop parked the van next to the yellow tape that said 'Do Not Cross'. We got out, i followed Bishop and Torres to the back of the van, they both grabbed a kit filled with gloves, evidence bags, evidence tubes, etc. We ducked under the yellow tape. I walked up to the crime scene, a Ford F-150. I looked over into the passenger side window, I stopped, closed my eyes and swallowed.
There were 2 passengers , a man and a woman, both of their throats were slit. The woman had 4 gunshots while the man had 3
D.M: they never saw it coming
I spun around to see a man in his late 60s or 70s, grey hair, glasses and a British type accent
J: excuse me?
D.M: The victims, they were killed before they even knew what happend
I looked down at the ground
D.M: is this your first time seeing a dead body?
J: No, im a retired marine, I've seen a lot of good men and women go down, I've had my fair share
D.M: Never something one gets used to
I shool my head side to side
D.M: im sorry did you say retired? You seem a little young to be retiring
I chuckled
J: Yes, 25 is a little young, thought i could use a change of scenery, put my criminal justice studies to some use
D: I see, Im sorry I didn't catch your name
J: Jessie Valentine sir
D.M: Donald Mallard
J: like the duck?
D.M: yes, people tend ti call me Ducky
He said while smiling, I nodded and walked past him, I looked around searching for the silver haired man who is apparently the boss, I soo spotted him talking to witnesses, I walked over next to him and faced his direction
J: sir, I found something
G: who are you?
He said furrowing his eyebrows
J: Im the temporary transfer to your team sir
G: what?
J: Director Vance has temporarily assigned me to your team till my papers are sorted out and Im transferred to Norfolk sir
Without warning he walked off, I followed after him
G: Are you gonna keep following me or are you gonna tell me what you found marine?
J: they werent killed here
He turned and looked at me
G: how do you know
I directed him to the car on the drivers side
J: okay if you look you can see they were both shot between 3 and 4 times, blood splatter is expected
G: there is on the windshield
J: yes but not consistent with 7 gunshots, also the bullet holes on the windshield don't match up with where they were shot
He again just stared
J: can i borrow your gloves?
He handed me his gloves, i quickly put them in
J: you see the bullet hole in the windshield? The patch it took from the gun to the windshield into his chest looks about right but when you move his torso forward , you see the bullet hole didnt go through and through, but when you look at the seat it shows the bullet went through.
Also the woman, windshield shows she was shot in the head but theres no gunshot on her head
G: this was staged
He then yet again walked off. McGee walked over to me
McG: you've been at this crime scene for 2 minutes how did you know all that ?
J: look at the back of that  seat, how many bullet holes do you see?
McG: atleast 2 dozen
J: the victims were only shot 3-4 times, the windshield is just holes now, also no keys in the ignition cant drive with no keys. So i can assume that the killers shot and killed the 2 navy officers somewhere else, forest maybe-
McG: wait why a forest
J: oh...theres pine needles on the bottom of their shoes, anyway killed in a forest, killers drove the car here, shot it up and placed them there
He just stared at me with disbelief
McG: Thats amazing
J: why thank you, hey can i save your life real quick
McG: what do you mean?
J: you missed the tyre brake marks back there
McG: back where?
I pointed at the road
McG: oh god, Gibbs would've had my neck, thank you so much!
J: Gibbs?
McG: the guy you were talking to,he's kinds the boss
J: i see, bossman seems like the type that would have peoples necks for missing evidence
McG: oh you have no idea
He said while smiling and walking to the tyre marks i told him about.
I started walking around to see where i could help
