"okay listen, what's your friends name? my friend can get her home safely" the kid told me
"no no i can take her home, i promised her i would" i spat
"i understand that, but it's better if i take you home so you can go rest, it's been a hectic night from what i saw" he said calmly
"no shit sherlock i was there, now will you excuse me i have to go take my friend home, she's probably waiting outside the venue because-" she looked at her watch to see the time "- the concert ended forty minutes ago and i'm her lalagagging with you, i appreciate your help but now i must leave" i walked away
i know it was mean but he said he could take me home and his friend can take annie home, hells no i ain't crazy, what if he was an ax murderer?

"hey, why were you late?" annie asked
"sorry i got caught up at the store, it's a long story, but we should get going we can hang out next week and talk about our whooole week" i told annie exaggerating the "o" in whole
she nodded as she got in the car
"so how was the concert anns?" i asked knowing she was damn well happy
i was drivin to our neighborhood as she was speaking
"it was great! i met gus and johnny! gus wasnt in the meet and greet but he was outside the venue when i got there and i took a picture with him! no wait! and then i met hayden!" she squealed
i laugh
"as long as your happy, i'm happy" i tell annie, she smiles at me and realizes were outside her house she kisses my cheek and yells goodbye and thank you as she runs in her house
