Undying Misery

I heard footsteps coming in front of me,

I heard noises of undying misery,

I heard voices deep within me,

Love can be so cruel, it had been no good to me.

Life was never easy,

and love was unpredictable,

meeting you was fate,

yet leaving me is inevitable.

Loving you is the only thing I did,

hurting me is what you’ve given in return,

though I wanted to ask you why,

still my heart ignores the pain inside.
