"Ma, do we have to leave? I mean, look at it from my perspective. If we leave, now I'm going to start a new school at the beginning of my junior year. Then make new friends and knowing me that will be forever. After that, move into a new house, which means adjusting, and you know I'm a little crazy. And the-" I say to my mom, getting cut off.
"Little girl, if you don't finish packing your room. I'm going to have to readjust your whole attitude." Mom says, cutting me off and walking out of my room.
" Yes, ma'am," I say, nodding.
Let me introduce myself. Hi! My name is Genesis Davis. I'm 15 years of age, born and raised in Houston, Texas. We are currently moving to Chino Hills, California, due to my dad getting a fantastic job offer as a coach for UCLA boys basketball. My mom works in the real estate business and, as a side hustle, is an interior designer. I have an older brother named Micah that got a scholarship to UCLA to play football, so it'll be nice to see him whenever. I play basketball and run track. I'm a Junior in high school since I skipped a grade, but lemme get back to packing before my momma comes here and whoops my ass.

Right now, we are on the way to the new house. I'm excited, especially since my brother living with us during his college years. As I'm in my world listening to J. Cole, we pull up to this lovely house.
"Yo, whose house is this?" I ask my mom and dad, shocked.
"Babe, sometimes I do be wondering if our daughter is that intelligent," Mom says to my dad, causing me to roll my eyes.
"Leave my little girl alone, and it's not that she isn't smart. It's just she acts blond." Dad says, laughing with my mom.
"Well, excuse me... but why are we moving into a house this big?" I ask them with a shocked expression.
