I woke up and saw that Dave was still sleep so I requested some shower shoes and took a shower

I was washing my body watching all of his blood from last night go down the drain

I stepped out of the shower and put on the clothes that Tae and Cardi left me

"Good afternoon Mrs. Brewster"

"Hi hows he doing?"

"He should be up any minute now I'm just changing his sheets and checking his vitals and everything"

"Ok thank you"

When the nurse left I sat next to his bed holding his hand

I kissed his lips then Bully walked in with Cardi behind him

"Hey mamas how you feelin?" She handed me a McDonalds bag

"I'm fine the nurse said he should be awake in a little bit"

"Listen to me Dave if you die...I'll kill you" Bully whispered to him

"Ok Ike Turner" I laughed at him

"I'm glad you smiling again" he sat on the couch next to cardi

They were kinda close but I'll question it later

15 minutes later
We were all talking about random things then I jumped feeling him squeeze my hand

"Oh my God...go get a nurse"

I grabbed his face and started crying

"Baby you scared me" I kissed him all over his face

"I told you I'm always gone be straight" he chuckled

"Good afternoon Mr. Brewster  how are you?" The nurse said sounding a little too happy

"Good" he said bluntly and went back to talking to me while she checked everything

"The doctor will be here shortly" she mugged me

"Thanks" I smiled at her

"Chill" he pinched my arm laughing

"I'm good she just bein too friendly"

"Good afternoon Mr and Mrs Brewster hows the patient?" The doctor asked us

"Ready to go"

"Ok well were just gonna make sure we have all of your medications ready then you can leave tomorrow I'm doctor Wilson by the way"

She wrote a few things on her clip board then left

"Damn I'm tryna go home"

"You'll be home tomorrow try not to overthink it"

"So you Mrs. Brewster now?"

"Nigga boo I had to say that or they wasn't gone let me see you"

"You want me to get you something from the cafeteria?" I laughed

"Alright I'm gonna head to the wendy's up the street and get you something"
